It's the same processor situation here, sorry if I didn't mention that! It's not quite as simple as Snapdragon being more powerful than Exynos, each has its strengths, but I do agree that the Snap is better (especially on battery life). Very good point on software though! I didn't really consider it since both have Android 10 now anyway, but yeah the Lite will get updates for longer which is a definite advantage - Dom

If you really insist on the headphone jack because you've got some cool headphones with that jack, you could get an adapter for the s10 lite. Or just get the Samsung galaxy buds with it.

@@BenjaminLee2009 im not sure how worth is that. I made a mistake and bought the lite, it's okish, it certainly has a mid-range feel and sound sucks, it absolutely lacks depth. The only plus is the battery life, but that's about it. If you want a premium feel and are willing to compromise on the battery, s10 is better.

@@gabitzakissy S10 is S10.... lite can't replace it...if u are a gamer and other things in phone doesn't bother you than lite is good but if u do care for other things like (waterproof, headphone jack plus your satisfaction) than S10 is good.

As long as your not swimming with it, it survives a minute or two under water. There are videos on yt that prove it. I think they just didnt pay for it to be certified.

It does not have LED notification, but you can use always on display or edge lightning and sound quality is good.

So what would you recommend between S10 lite and samsung A80 i recently dropped bymistake a S8 galaxy from the window 9 floors down. Im researching for a good phone under 32k

Tech Advisor Dom I couldn’t believe it myself, a seller on ebay UK had it listed for sale open to offers... I tried offering a cheeky £250 which they obviously refused .... before I could up my offer they sent the £280 offer... I jumped on it!! I honestly cannot find anything lite about this phone... okay not a glass back.. no wireless charging or stereo speakers but the camera is superb and the screen is gorgeous...

Do you like it a lot? I think I'm convinced. I'm currently using a Note 8 and I think it's time for an upgrade. The S20 is beyond my budget anyways. The S10+ looks gorgeous and I love how the Prism White one matches with the Cloud Blue Galaxy Buds+.

Oh, it's tough to say at those prices. I guess first question is to figure out if you'd rather a big phone (S10 Lite or S10+) or small (S10 or S10e). I'd skip the S10e either way, better to pay an extra $100 for the regular S10 if you can afford it and want a smaller model. If you want bigger, basically depends if you'd rather prioritise camera and wireless charging (+) or battery and performance (Lite) - Dom

With note 10 lite being the best. Not only does it have a headphone jack like the a71 and unlike the s10 lite, it also has an S-pen. Yes. THE S-Pen you'd normally find on a very expensive note device. No other phones with styluses is quite like it. Not the LG Stylo 4 and 5, or that new Moto G Stylus. Only downside? It's using an older Exynos chip courtesy of Samsung. I could be wrong but I believeits a Note 9 Exynos chip. If you don't game a lot and only use it for social media, UKposts, netflix and the like, note 10 lite would do just fine.

That's what I was thinking I need help I was going to get the s10 then figured I need a bigger fone, so was going to go for s10 plus then come across this, now find out that m15 has just come out, I'm so stuck I want latest model put good features, for a good price, instead of older model, it's hard work looking for a good to meet every expectation if I could find a fone with just everything I need on it I wouldn't mind buying the price

S10+ is a better package overall but i dont care about wireless charging water resistance better camera i care about more battery and performance because i play games

S10+, you need that bigger battery. Even with this 4100 mah battery I struggle to get 1.5 days screen on time. (I'm using s10+) that kinda is the only difference, dual camera in the display looks nice and wont distract me

As u know it hase some bad sides for someone - No Wireless Charging + Dust&Water resistance, Quad HD display, Plastic back. Except this features overall its perfect. Now lets talk about my daily usage and some info about battery life and heating etc. It has 855 as u know its perfect chipset for gaming performance and battery life. but samsung one ui skin is bad af. It has 4500mAh battery capacity. For my usage scnee - WiFi on All day Auto Brightness it gives me 9h+ battery life. Im not a person who play games too much but im using social media and UKposts too much so it has a good battery life. It can handle heavy usage and when day off u will have 30% battery even high than this if u turn off wifi when ur not using. In hot days it's getting hot :). When u are playing PUBG max setting + 60fps satble + max brightness u can play 5-to-7 hours *(no lag at all u can play 100% - 30% without any lag)* it's getting hot not too much but u will feel it's getting hot. Screen side its perfect it has 1080p HDR10+ certified Samsung Super AMOLED Plus Panel 1080x2400 394 ppi - (its not sharp like s10+ or not 10 plus but it's good pixels will not gonna bother you when u are watching at 1080p video.) I think brightness a little bit low i can be higher than this but outside under sun its perfectly visible i did not have any problem at all. My device has 6gb of ram (*in our country only aviable 6/128gb*) it's bad cause of one ui and samsung stupid optimization it use 3 of ram without running any program just a default programs so if u think and want to buy a phon whic u will gonna use 1 or 2 year it will be bad in 2021-22 cuz of 6. SO IF U HAVE 8GB in ur country get it 8gb variant. Storage side u can select lowest posibble 128 in case if u wish u can throw a sdcard up to 1TB SD Card and sim card slot are same so if u want to use 2 sim u will lose 2.th slot which is SD Card slot. Charging is soo good like if u have 35% u will gonna full it in 30-45min . It's support 45W fast charging if u want to charg really really really fast like 120W on mi 10 ultra :D u can buy seperately. in my model it does not have clear case and it does not have a screen protector on front from factory so u'll have to buy seperately. Ah it has 6.7 inch screen but it's not wide like note line it's tall but it's not wide so u will not gonna have a problem to handle with one hand it can be a bit hard to type one handly but it support one hand usage thing that u can make smaller when u are using with one hand just simply turn on feature and swipe from keyboard starting corner to right corner. Also it does not support DeX mode and it does not have Curved display so think about when u buy if u want corved or flat. It does have - 87.8% screen-to-body ratio - when u look at the size 6.7 its not too much big like note 10 or s20 ultra. You will get perfect result in good lightning condition and good portrait photos. It does support portrait for everything. Overall S10+ is better, its not much worse than s20(well screen is) and i dont think that it looks old. For me S10+ is about maximum size, lite would be way too big for me and still some ways worse than S10+
