8 місяців томуJaydn Ott rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns, Isaiah Ifanse scored three times and Cal beat North Texas 58-21 on Saturday, a day after the Golden Bears agreed to join the ACC.
Cal outgained UNT 669 yards to 225 while scoring the final 31 points in this one. The Golden Bears held the Mean Green to 9 yards after halftime in their highest-scoring game since 2015.
Stone Earle had three TD passes but was intercepted twice in the debut of North Texas coach Eric Morris and the first game for the Mean Green (0-1) as members of the American Athletic Conference.

I am going to love it when CAL goes to ACC. PAC-12 had some highlights of this game today and they did not show all tds scored or any of the highlights of North Texas.

@@oski1990 Because people judge you on quality. Just because I quit my job, does not mean I do not leave the business in better standing than it was when I came in. It is just something you do if you are a good human being, which these PAC-12 people are obviously not.

North Texas is gonna up the house like Sanders did to Colorado. A lot of the players are not really hustling. Way too many missed tackles and the QB can not read defense. I hope next year North Texas get rid of those lazy players. This is opening game is really sick to watch.

The bears had a consistent game plan for this one. Auburn can tackle and have a really good defensive backfield. Got to work home field/time zone advantage next week to pull off the next one.

All I really saw was Cal has some RBs so that should be Auburns focus we obviously need to be a lot better at stopping the run in general so if they do that Auburn can win this one I don’t take anyone lightly even Cal if Auburn wants to be elite they need dominate like the elite nothing against Cal but this would be a perfect opportunity for Auburn to shore up that run defense against some talented backs

Glad I’m not the only one although I knew I wasn’t. Had to mute it and do the radio broadcast but it wasn’t synced up. Still less annoying than listening to the estrocomentation

Not sure what you've seen that suggests Auburn will Pummel Cal especially considering Auburn looks like they can get easily exposed in run defense. Cal looks pretty strong on offense. Just for transparency, I'm an Auburn fan.

Auburn is mostly transfers still learning the system and yes, I want them to win but they have a lot of learning to do as stated by the head coach!

Let’s hope their only 2 scholly db game, and underwhelming dline play is better than your trolling game because those are the antithesis of both of Cal’s major strengths and I fully expect spavital to attack between the tackles with Ott and Ifanse until ya’ll put that frosh db in man against Hunter or Davis or Hightower or Young and then it’s lights out.
