What if… Santa was the gooey demon in the pumpkin was Santa? And lemon and the gooey unused sprite were partners in crime. Maybe, they took human souls and the lemon demon and the gooey demon wanted to get revenge and the reasons why the henchman’s are not getting revenge is becuase maybe they erased there memories but they didn’t with the lemon and gooey demon?

Also the "fallen angels" line is just intimidation - he's implying that he'll use Boyfriend's corpse to create snow angels. It also makes a lot more sense when _put in context_ - the previous line also mentions doing holiday activities (making snowmen) with his dead body.

I always thought that the girlfriend's parents were holding the mall santa hostage because they just wanted to sit on the santa's chair while they had the battle with boyfriend or something like that, and you can see Lemon Demon on the background in the first two rounds, probably he's waiting for his turn to attack, he doesn't just appear out of nowhere (kinda) he was always there... in the background... waiting for the right moment to attack...

About the part about Pico and Bf being canonically exes: It actually stemmed from a lot of fan head cannons. I think the Devs didn’t plan for that (since it got thrown around on Twitter wether it was actually cannon or not) but then they rolled with it.

It’s been confirmed in streams that the parents “accepting” bf was just a way to make him easier to mess with and they don’t actually like him, it’s also been confirmed that the dad did push them into the game, and the monster’s (lemon demon) songs aren’t made by the main team aside from the charting, it’s actually bassetfilms (the voice of the monster) that made them, so it’s unlikely that any real lore is hidden in them

Debatable, I made a comment pointing out all the major holes in this theory. Like how could Lemon Demon be the mall Santa as he was on the balcony, and his pumpkin goo form is an unused art design so it can’t be used as any type of evidence.

I am debating that most of these claims are not reasonable and shouldn’t really be taken into consideration.
