DDR5 @ 5600 with an AMD doesn't have that much of an impact, and its close enough to the recommended 6000. Intel on the other hand shows much more performance with higher frequencies. The bigger issue is that they won't get 5600 with 4 sticks of RAM in AM5. Yup, 1200W PSU is too much. Nvidia made a super efficient GPU, and AMDx3D CPUs are also very efficient. You could probably get away with a 750w for a rig like this. As for the brand, Corsair now uses HEC as their OEM supplier. This is a company based out of India. I also wouldn't trust it much. Back in the day all the best PSU were made by Seasonic (as you noticed) or Super Flower, as they were OEM suppliers for brands like EVGA, among others. Now you can just buy them directly from the manufacturer.

A 4x 16 gb rams afterall like its more expensive than a dual 2x32 gb ram 6400+ sticks alone. Too many flaws in this build and wasting money on unnecessary things. In that price point id have had a rtx 4090 and still have a few hundreds left.

We had a budget of 3k. I really just built what I would have if I had that budget for the computer only.

@@JoseCruz11123 Is that USD? Because so much money was wasted with those parts, and its not even the best price to performance. What in there needs a 1200w PSU? 4 sticks of RAM? It cost more than 2, and AM5 does not allow for max speeds with 4 sticks. This is why most AM5 systems are only using 2 sticks of ram. The 7800x3D is cheaper than the 7900x3D and it performs way better in gaming. The 7900x3d is worse at gaming and productivity is not all there either. There is a reason AMD has continued to drop its price, because no one is buying it. A $40 ThermalRight cooler will match that $100+ Noctua air cooler. A proper build could have allowed for more money to go into a better GPU or CPU based on targeted use case. This is why I said they must not know much about PCs. Its incredibly sub optimal. It's not likes its the end of the world, but it kinda falls into the "mistakes were made" category. Plenty of experienced builders will cringe a little when watching this video.

@@deuswulf6193 You're choosing beggars here. It's free, they just had folks make a computer they liked as long as it was under 3k usd and had a 4080S in it. Noctua looks nice, 1200W is overkill but you won't really need anything else for a while. Yeah 4 sticks of ddr5 isn't optimal, but filled out slots look nice, even at slower speeds. I wasn't going for "Most dollars per FPS". Just something I thought would look nice that fit the budget and still made kind of sense. 🤷

You think 4 sticks of ram just looks better, but what's the point if you are covering it with the air cooler anyway? its also a black out build, in a case with low visibility. There is no visual difference between 2 and 4 at that point, just lower performance at a higher cost. Its their fault as well for choosing and building that system. Its just embarrassing for everyone involved. Don't be so defensive. It was kind of a dumb build, that was easily avoidable if you spent more time reading the forums on PCPP. Nvidia looks bad for building it. No one wins.

Do you mean RTX? Of course they are made for gamers, and those who do productivity work too. Believe it or not, we tend to do both. "RTX" is bringing a lot to the table as far as gaming goes.
