50% of all Jewish people on Earth live there and a good percentage of those outside strongly affiliate with it. Israel is Constitutionally defined as a Jewish state. All of its leaders have been Jewish. The national language is Hebrew. It's national mythos references the jews returning to their homeland. Israel's claimed capital is Jerusalem. I dunno. Well done George Galloway!!! You took the opportunity, which not everyone is going to appreciate!!! Especially many of the media presenters!!!! So many people are too cowardly even to rethink, learn, understand and admit they have made a mistake in supporting someone/something. I've come to this 4 years too late, but having just watched it, I feel moved to comment. George is right, and Morgan the mouth is trying to make it something its not. If Israel had been playing rhe match it would have been perfectly reasonable to wave their flag. But Israel wasn't playing, therefore a British person waving the Israeli flag is supporting apartheid Israel. To pretend otherwise to score points is simply disingenuous.

George Galloway is not antisemitic at all. He opposed apartheid South Africa, which is evident from his testimony at the Oxford Union, and he equally, unequivocally, opposes Israeli apartheid. Israel is an apartheid state. Amnesty International, a completely independent and apolitical organization, has published a report in which it accused Israel of practicing apartheid. Due to the abovementioned facts aboutAmnesty International, it has no axe to grind against Israel. So Galloway is correct to call the Israeli flag the flag of apartheid.

Well Mr Sugar, I am a Spurs fan and I can confirm that I have seen the Israeli flag being held up by fans on several occasions. The unofficial stands outside the stadium selling memorabilia used to sell a flag showing the Star of David and the letters THFC around it. And I'm not on here to judge whether it is right or wrong. I'm just here to say that I've 100% seen them. So the only one who needs to shut their mouth here is Lord Sugar!

If Sugar has never seen an Israeli flag at Tottenham, he obviously never went ! The Yid Army, says it all. The bottom line is that anyone who is pro-Palestinian, is seen as being antisemitic. According to the literal definitions as above, to call someone antisemitic, realistically is going against not just Jewish people but all those that are in the "Semitic" Language Family Group. And one for Piers and the Good Morning Britain panel- Interrupting is rude when it inhibits the effective transmission of the message the person is trying to get across.
