Palestine was the name of the Holy Promised Land of the Jewish people before the name was changed back to Israel with the declaration of independence in 1947.

My in-laws were born in "Palestine" and a few generations back as well.

I get your point. But if the result of Trump resuming the office is a total abandonment of the US by most worlds’ counties, US becomes impotent and can’t protect Israel. Irony often rules.
