That's why them dudes is who they are and we aren't. I'm just as impressed with how perfectly Paul and Eric hit the high notes with precision and on time and not a fraction of a note off. That's every bit as splendid, especially 40-some years after the song was released. Nobody's in their 20s anymore, so the purity of their singing voices to me is equally mind-blowing.

That alone is hard to do when you've performed this so many times you're doing it in your sleep. Mind you if you google guest musician that played with the Beatles you literally get hundreds of results. These include Billy Preston, Mick Jagger, Donovan, Keith Richards, Keith Moon, Brian Jones, Maryanne Faithful as well as various backing singers and other instrumentalists.

It's worth noting however, Marc Mann carried most of the backing solo parts on behalf of Eric so that EC could focus on the lead vocal. Of course, out of deference to EC, Marc went into arpeggio mode during EC's main solo, but it was Marc Mann who was actually doing most of the backing solo work through the length of the concert. Excellent teamwork all round.

Since 90s Clapton has really reached a new peak with his guitar playing.His pure clean strat sound with so smooth trills,crying bends and excellent phrasing really make me shiver every time i hear him playing.We all know it's really hard to play it fast but Clapton plays slow blue with such finest which is even much harder

Absolutely! This song came out when I was 8, but I didn't hear it until I was a little older. Our neighbor had a bunch of Beatles records, and invited our family over to listen to Abbey Road. I loved it. He told me that any time I wanted to come listen to more, I could. I took him up on that. He played this song for me, among many others, and I was hooked.

George's talented look a like son, Paul ♥, and the first Beatle whose name i could say when i was a baby, Ringo looks INCREDIBLY youthful now. he could pass for my age easily. This song is one of my favorites. i play it on the piano sometimes. (other performers Eric Clapton i recognize, others i recognize but not certain of their names. it's so moving they not only perform one another's songs but sing and play it with the same passion as if the song's their own. They are equally magnificent if i temporarily suppress favoring the original Beatles.

@@SuperAllanjames Well as you know George persuaded Eric to come in and do some overdubs at Abbey Road on WMGGW and those totally changed the tone of the track to a much more rock feel. According to Mark Lewisohn's book Eric's commanding solo lines inspired the other Beatles to "try a bit harder" on George's song and the results speak for themselves. Soon after George reciprocated by co-writing Badge with Eric.
