Murad wanted control Gevherhan and took away what she loved and in end he lost his sister, Akita was selfish and ended up in unlovely marriage and Kosem Sultan lost her Daughter in end too

I thought it was because he loves Atike more than Geverhan, was worried that Atike might poison herself and wrongly assumed that Geverhan would just comply with his decision? Too true. I thought Ibrahim and Hatice were a wonderful couple - except when Ibrahim was going off the rails. Hurichan's death was terribly sad as well. Particularly when Bayezid begs her not to leave him saying he won't have anyone left if he loses her as well as Cihangir and Mustafa. This is one of the reason why I have always like Magnificent Century more than Kosem. Both series are very dramatic and sometimes over the top but Magnificent Century rarely overdone it and the conflicts were, most of the times, very interesting and engaging. Kosem, on the other hand, had some absurd and forced conflicts that just felt exhaustive in the long run. Ayse and Farya, Gevherhan and Atike, etc. This so-called conflict were just absurd and boring🙄

Tell me if I'm right here, as I only had time to watch the end (because I know that's where the juicy stuff is) but I'll come back to it later... I watched the end scene Murad comes off as either the eldest or the second child. The son, the heir, the precious boy child. Mr Alpha Male control freak. He would have been Sultan regardless of his age though Geverhan also seems like either the first born or the second child. Anything she actually _wanted_ was ignored, either to hurt her, exert control, she was a woman and considered not as important or because it wasn't "appropriate" and others thought better. Atike feels like the baby. Pampered, cosseted and short sighted. Jealous of and likes to hurt her older sister and gain the approval of her powerful brother. Doing whatever she can to get whatever she wants while not fully understanding the extent of the consequences. At least not until it's too late.

Nas duas coisas. A Sultana Mãe era privilegiada e na ordem do harém era a dirigente, só o próprio sultão tinha mais poder que ela. Até sobre as esposas do sultão ela tinha prevalência. Como mais velha e mãe do sultão, tinha o direito a usar as joias mais luxuosas. Inclusive ela usa o anel de esmeralda que Suleiman fez para a Hürrem.

She though he didn’t deserve that punishment but later on he finds that he was indeed a traitor and also a cheater, as she finds he had a mistress and another child, so she stopped mourning over him

Ohh my god 😂 geverhan and silahtar loved each other and kosem and Kemankeş liked each other. But murad decided to marry off geverhan with Kemankeş and silahter with atike. Actually kosem was right İf this actually happened nobody would be healed. Thanks to the producers they killed geverhan and kosem didn't lose her Kemankeş ❤
