I also thought this cause he beat Kong's ass then roared in his face and Kong roared right back durring it and Zilla appreciates a monster with gutts which Kong showed and he didn't go after Zilla, Zilla went after him just to let him know who the kings is. Honestly, be real. The secret scene was the reveal that Kong and Godzillas species at some point definitely worked together. That's why the energy source the kongs protected is in his likeness. What likely happened was Godzilla and Kongs ancestors were one unit. And another species actually caused the split. And the war wasn't between their kind. But between them and another kind of Titan. Probably space Godzilla? I think he's definitely next for Godzilla's line of movies. That would be the only Titan that would make sense if the war was caused by another species. Ghidorah came from space, so they already established space Titans. We have the turtle which I think they should use for Kong.

Kong tapped out? There was only 2 fights that were fair and 1 Kong won but when Kong won he didn't go right up to him slicing him with the axe he walked away and the 2nd Godzilla won and started scratching Kong up but walked away and the ending Kong wasn't bowing he dropped the axe as a sign of peace and so did Godzilla with him walking away.

Don't stretch it. The kid barely acted a single scene. There were moments were everyone around her was about to die, Kong was about to die, shit was gonna go down and she was there frozen with the same expression she made 90% of the movie. This could be the last encounter between Kong and Godzilla. They have their own turf to rule and defend now. It was mentioned in the movie that there could still be other titans in hollow earth, giving a hint for future solo King Kong Movies. And on surface earth, Destoroyah is still lurking somewhere for a possible solo Godzilla movie in the future.

I was really impressed with Godzilla's durability and overall stamina. Dude was swimming non stop for days, chasing the Apex people and fought Kong until dawn, tanking all of his shots. He didn't even look winded while Kong was wheezing like hell. Then Godzilla turns around and gets brutalized by Mecha G, but at the end he still stood back up ready to throw hands with Kong again and Kong just wanted to take a nap lol

At first I was thinking "what post credit scene?" but now it makes sense. True, you don't go to a monster movie expecting something on a par with Casablanca or something, but for a monster film this film has a pretty good story. They obviously thought about their universe and tried to come up with a reasonable origin for the monsters, a decent explanation for why the monsters are fighting, and how Kong could hold his own against a creature with an atomic breath weapon. The business with Ghidorah's brain was an interesting twist. There is a lot of interesting history left for future films to explore. Also, the cinematography was very good and the effects were amazing. This is definitely a well above average monster movie. I am going to pick up the DVD.

Tectonic plates dont exist in this universe, due to ours in this universe being placed on top of our magma core, their planet doesnt have one its just the hollow earth so the earth in their universe is just pure rock and bedrock, no lava in the middle of the planet. Its also proven theres no molten core when cong reaches the center of the planet in the final scene.

@@charlesmclain6558 Yeah, I was confused about that. Hollow earth has two surfaces. Is the Hollow Earth spherical or flat? The hologram showed it as a sphere, but that would mean the first surface is the inside shell of the outer earth layer and the second surface is a smaller globe. What would keep the second globe in place? And where does the gravity for the second globe come from if the gravity inversion of the first layer is still working? Also, they came in from the outer layer by Antarctica, then were walking on the inside of the earth's surface before switching sides to walk on the second surface. So when Godzilla blasts through it comes from the ground... isnt that the wrong side??

The Cinematics in this film made the film for me. No shaky cam. No quick back and forth jump cuts. No intentionally poor lighting to hide bad cgi. They chose to show the battlefields with massive shots and smooth camera movement, good lighting even in the nighttime fight scenes, and they made it their mission to SHOW THE MONSTERS And have good clean shots of the fights so you can really take in the mayhem. It was AWESOME. The human story with the kids was cheesy and weak but that not a dealbreaker for me. (Thats not why i watch kaiju/monster movies) lol Also there are definitely some consistency issues with the story with establishing laws of logic in the story, you just gotta let it go, it was definately noticable at times but still it is a small price to pay for the incredible action and beautifully done cinematics in this clash of the titans epic. I had a blast and im definately gonna buy the film digital download to watch over and over.

I think what they were doing with the ending was that while Godzilla looks after the surface world (protecting the world from newer and current threats... such as if we get Gigan, or SpaceGodzilla, or human-made threats like Biollante)... Kong will get to face more ancient threats while protecting the Hollow Earth, which can include new Titans they want to introduce. It’s a way to keep the two alphas separated with their own lines of movies, but keeping potential for future crossovers when one threat becomes TOO powerful, so they have an ally they can call upon. An example of that last part being Kong coming up against an ancient crustacean-like creature that starts rapidly evolving, eventually leaking out past Kong into the surface world... becoming Destoroyah... Personally, I’m hoping that we get a Mothra movie. The end credits of KotM did suggest that a new Mothra egg had been found, AND that it sounded like there were two creatures in it... so maybe Mothra and Battra could take the stage, only this time Battra is an evil twin, rather than an ally to Mothra against an evil Godzilla.

Huge Godzilla fan, actually, my ringtone is 1962 Godzilla roar!! LoL Always take my kids to the IMAX anytime a new Godzilla, Pacific Rim, or Transformers movie comes out! Sadly, the IMAX close to us is still closed due to covid, ugh... Finally went to regular theater last night, hopefully to help box office sales, and we all loved it!! I would be glad to see either in a solo movie. Also "Destroy all Monsters" and "Monster 0" are some of my all-time favorites! Anything with multiple Titans would be awesome!! 😃

The Apparent Vendetta in how he attacked Godzilla was pretty obvious as it Literally showed Ghidorah's Head Disconnect the Pilot and fry his brain....yes everyone noticed and if it wasn't obvious... by the end he tried to Kill Godzilla the same way Godzilla Killed him ...... I guess even then there were some cluelessness going on

Godzilla going one on one against Mechagodzilla was too funny. I could not stop laughing. Every time it cut from kimg making up his mind to them fighting godzilla was getting the beating of his life, at one point he got his face stomped into a building 🤣.

Also I believe Mechagodzilla was actually Ghidorah. If you think about it, he did the exact thing what Godzilla did to Ghidorah. Trying to finish him off. Cause the machine is connected to the brain of Ghidorah.

Yeah cause in the whole fight his primary target was Godzilla, he just push away kong and returns to attack Godzilla so its sure that there is some rivalry between the two and ghidorah sounds like a perfect answer

Apex only had one Ghidorah head, as that was the only one that Godzilla ripped off - the other three were vaporized during the ending of G:KOTM. There might have been *part* of the skull inside Mechagodzilla, as the cockpit seemed to be made of just the top of it.
