I've been watching this video every now and then for the pass few years, and here I am today watching it again in 2022, maybe I'll watch it in 2023 haha. Great video though, I love seeing videos of people just catching fish, octopuses, crabs, eels, and many more It's just really satisfying to me on how people can just catch these things. This would be a cool idea for crab fishermen. A camera that had a light, in the cage and ran an antenna up the buoy line so you could remotely monitor your traps seeing what is working and what is not as you were in range to get the transmission. That way you can let them soak or move them as needed or when successful pick them up. Probably expensive but for king crab fishermen it might be a game-changer.

Good video Scott. Dungeness Crab season started yesterday. Should be a good year. Going out this morning with the guys. Back east in the Chesapeake I had much success. Used a trot line to catch crab . Works great and fun. On the radio we would hear news that the police believed someone dumped bodies in the bay. We would say, " crabs will be real fat this year." :>)
