NFC also can be used for 2-FA hardware keys (as well as USB). These are some amazing additions (already used bluetooth, but USB and NFC are new for me).

Web already has WebAuthn api for 2fa security flows using keys.

Using edge in the hid talk for an example of cross platform is a really weak stretch since it's reskinned chromium... Hoping web serial gets more support, very useful for hardware interactions.

It's funny when Logitech, the makers of webcams and so many other devices, record themselves with poor audio quality. Great talk nonetheless, just important to use headphones to understand it.

You think that museums want visitors to be touching their devices to an nfc tag, or anything actually? A QR-Code works better, since many people can scan it at once and from a distance.
