I hate to confuse you, but this stitch is **not** front post or back post crochet. In "post" stitches you actually put your hook AROUND the POST of the stitch in the previous row.... not into the top of the stitches like she is doing here. I don't know the name of this stitch she is demonstrating, but it is not "front post" crochet or "back post" crochet. It is entirely different. There are many many tutorials on UKposts that show how to do an actual "front post" and "back post" stitch.

I learned the typical granny stitch and stuck with it. Im hoping to branch out after all these years.

Ive been crocheting since I was seven years old and I know all the stitches! Maybe you need to get educated yourself! Either that or go look in the mirror because you have no idea as to what you are so just shut up okay! It is front post single crochet! Also referred to as single crochet front post and double crochet front post! And also cording!
