I've been a SOAD fan since age 10 and now Im turning 28.. I can't believe i barely found this!!!

Daron and Serj needed their personal artistic space. They got it and they both created masterpieces. Daron's 2 albums (Scars on Broadway) and Serj's albums are my SOAD version 2. This amazing. One of the most unique music. Now they are together again.

This is a timeless album. Serj is one of the only famous people who I feel like you could genuinely trust.

This and Imperfect Harmonies are fantastic albums. I love his use of samples, and I become the Leonardo DiCaprio meme every time I hear a sample that I have used in my own music. Jazz Iz Christ is great too.

I still don't understand how SOAD can't look eye to eye creatively : / this could easily be a SOAD song with Daron and John's input. Daron's work has been okay so I don't know how his input would be nowadays but fuck... I miss the band.

Damn this is awesome! But I just can't stop thinking about the potential these songs would have if you'd add some daron into the mix :-P I wish daron would be musically more open minded. At this point I really think that Serj wasn't the problem in the first place. He just wanted to experiment a bit.

There are so many great songs on this album, but I think Butterfly is my favorite. The line, "we are being sacrificed by our own suspicions" always hits me. It is so true. Our suspicions make us feel emboldened, and hatred gives us a certain strength, but it is laced with poison.

The descending chords in Cornucopia remind me of Dark Entries by Bauhaus. I just watched What's In My Bag with Serj Tankian earlier, and he said Ministry had a huge influence on him. The Revolting Cocks, another group with input from Al Jourgensen, did a cover version of Dark Entries maybe 10 years ago. Lol, I'm rambling. Just excited to be listening to Serj Tankian again. I loved the first SOAD album then developed an elitist attitude problem that kept me from enjoying any following albums until a few years ago.

Serj Tankian is an excellent singer! But I prefer and miss his old band SOAD

As a big fan of SOAD I thought I would give both Sers and Daron a chance and listen to their solo albums. There are some good moments on this album, but I generally don´t feel it. The new album I sadly can´t stand at all. Daron´s "scars of broadway" has some song that is ok, but damn I miss SOAD!

I'm gonna say it, I respect Serj's works (SOAD is fucking awesome and all single albums rocks) and appreciate his messages, but I do not agree with it. Not always, of course

I wonder how many barrels of oil were burnt in order to create this master piece, how many to create each instrument, to mobilize the crew and performers, to fabricate the plastic for the physical copies and other merchandise... There's no way around capitalism :)

I really wanted to like this album but compared to Elect the Dead and SOAD; Serj's music and lyrics have regressed in quality. Also, I really don't feel the passion behind them either and that is honestly the most important to me. I think he took on way too many projects at once, didn't devote enough time to each them individually and all of them suffered because of it.

He has to know how bad this is in comparison to elect the dead, system, scars etc.

Serj needs system cause this ain’t working sorry to hurt feelings but that is my opinion

the progression is all over the place and i can't understand a word. :/
