Wormtail turned to the dark side, James was murdered by Voldemort, Sirius was banished to Azkaban and even when he got out was never really whole again, and Remus’ werewolf abilities just kind of broke him down and eventually he was lost in the war. Imagining them back then, having no idea they were all doomed, just makes me sad for them.
