Just my opinion ... the times Lee Mack has appeared on this show he seems to struggle a bit to keep up the speed and standard of wit (especially from Merton) which is higher than Would I Lie To You (in my opinion).

Only thing Lee Mack's got going for him is the cocaine.

Mack might match Mr Merton in quickness but Mr Mack's humor is rather lowbrow in comparison to Mr Merton. Mr Mack is more like an irritating class clown how can't seem to shut up. To me Mr Mack's quick "wit" has more to do with him wanting to be heard instead of him trying to be funny. Mr Mack is like a chainsaw while Mr Merton is more like a scalpel.

Actually, just last weekend the life ball in Vienna took the Sound of Music as it's theme.
