@@jerekuusrainen6475 I can tell you one thing, even if soldiers were hiding in the children’s hospital, they wouldn’t still be hiding there after it’s already been shelled twice. Vasili is a man of true restraint, if a former “friend” was attempting to justify my civilian neighbors and relatives being indiscriminately shelled by cluster munitions and whatever artillery they can find, the kindest words I’d probably be able to muster would be something to the effect of “I hope the same happens to you and your descendants remember you as a complacent coward who helped carry out the war crimes of a sadistic oligarchic dictator committed against his own comrades”

Unfortunately that breakdown between Vitaly and Shura strikes me as all too common. It has amazed and appalled me over my life how people I considered close and trustworthy have proved the exact opposite when something happened that challenged their interests. “it is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” - Upton Sinclair. This is my all time favourite quote for a reason. It is bitterly disappointing but if you understand this fact the world makes an awful lot more sense.

This hurts to watch. I've been in Kherson three times, and I remember this city as bright and lively. The amount of damage done to Kherson is shocking. I can't imagine what it was like to live through all those atrocities.

This video is just like scenes of the London blitz, except in the blitz films it was indiscriminate bombing but here all the houses are well spaced out and each house seams to have its fare share of the available shelling. It’s definitely targeted I can’t see any lines of craters of sticks of bombs from aircraft. This is almost proof of gentrification or more likely attempted genocide of Ukrainians from their own country.

Russia does not bomb civilians. There are attacks on strategic objects. Sometimes the Ukrainian air defense deflects the trajectory of the projectiles and then they fall into buildings. There are also cases when shells are deflected for another reason. If the Ukrainian government cared about people, it would have carried out the evacuation of civilians from the combat zone, as Russia did in Kherson.

Because they are on the other side of the river and they bombed the crossings. Also there is some Ukrainian army presence in Kherson, with special forces and artillery men. Crossing the river is completely suicidal and none of the sides have done it. Also Kherson is one of the few places where AFU has air superiority given the fact that their air defense bateries are far behind the frontline in Crimea and Melitopol.

Это нарратив пропаганды что в России про Украину думали, люди везде живут своими заботами. но вот пришел момент, когда перед режимом повисла возможность новой Югославии. О гарантиях не договорились и пошел большой конфликт. все они любят деньги, значит риск не вступить оценили выше, чем сохранить статус-кво.

They said Ukranian soldiers liberated Kherson, which was even celebrated, but the man tells on a phone there are no soldiers. Then how Kherson got liberated, by whom, did they liberate the city and left???

😂 Потому что ничего они не освобождали, лжецы. Русские просто спокойно покинули город и эвакуировали большую часть жителей. А эти просто зашли через несколько дней (сразу боялись 😂) и теперь там хрень. Даже мусор не могут вывозить после того, как ушли городские власти России 😂

They mostly left because, after Russians bombed the bridges and crossings, Kherson became a dead end. Most forces were regrouped into the Eastern front, mostly around Bakhmut and Donetsk.
