I am Scottish but live in England. My children who have worked hard have had a wonderful life here .The opportunities are there for everyone. Work hard ,study and keep out of trouble, the British education system is respected all over the world .

Saying St. George was Turkish is as ignorant as saying that Boudica or Constantine the Great were English, or that Vercingetorix was French. Iman pretends to understand historical context, yet with her first utterance her lack of understanding of historical nuance shows, such as the fact that St. George lived about half a millennium before the arrival of the Turks in Anatolia.

That lady doen't have any clue what she is talking about. St. George was Greek and the area was Greek at the time. She insists call him "Turkish". I am immigrant and I believe that immigrants must respect the countries welcomes them and not acting as a Trojans horses who wants to change their culture, history, ethics etc. If anyone of us doesn't respect where we live, then we can always go back to the countries we originally came from. Please, respect the native populations and culture because otherwise you create HATRED which will backfire and our kids will suffer.

I am English because I was born here. My family is a Mixture of Scottish and Italian. I don't actually have any English relatives that I am aware of, but I am proud to be a Citizen of one of the great nations of the world. Every English person should be free to celebrate St. Georges day. Just like any other nation celebrate's their patron saints.

Having lived in England, Australia, New Zealand and Italy, England is the least racist of these four countries. My 10 years living in London opened my eyes to so many cultures and races. It was one of the best things about living there, in my opinion. I lived in Hackney for most of my time in a very Caribbean and African area and it was absolutely wonderful. I don’t believe I can find this rich melting pot of cultures and races anywhere else living harmoniously as I did in my time in England. I will remember it fondly for the rest of my life. ❤
