I love how gracious the non-winners are to the winner. They have to be disappointed ,but grownups suck it up smile and and congratulate the victor. Something that some people in politics do not do…

Luckily my father was a secret agent in France during the revolution before he left me, I believe he actually was the inspiration for this character. The hint about being Captain America's side kick also helped

Doggone, I even read this book, but didn’t think of it. The book lover in me hates that a lot of people probably got this because they saw the movie, not because they read the book. How many of you read it? I read it so long ago, I haven’t thought of it in years.

When I think of historical fiction, I think of “The Scarlet Pimpernel”. I fell in love with the 1982 version with Anthony Andrews and Jane Seymour in high school, This character is the prototype of modern super heroes. I believe the publication of “The Scarlet Pimpernel” predates the Zorro book.

An aristocratic hero who saves other aristocrats from the dirty, murderous, entirely ill-suited-to-power middle and working classes. Wonder why they don't keep rebooting this story, given it's easily in the public domain.

Pretty straightforward I would say. Someone else already posted that famous rhyme. I think some more thorough preparation is in order for our college professor and our retired CPA, so that they can do better on their third go-round (and perhaps their fourth and fifth).
