Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition on PC features unlocked frame rates, customizable graphics settings and a broad range of performance-enhancing technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 3 and NVIDIA Reflex. For players with high-end hardware and extra headroom, image-enhancing NVIDIA DLAA is also available.
The game leverages DirectStorage for quick loading times on PC. Gameplay is supported in 21:9 ultra-wide, 32:9 super ultra-wide and even 48:9 resolutions with compatibility for triple-monitor setups. Fully customizable mouse and keyboard controls let you traverse the Forbidden West and fight ferocious machines on your PC the way you want to. The game also features extensive controller support, including Steam Input support for remapping and customization of your peripheral of choice to your preferences.
The PC version of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is now available for pre-purchase with bonus content:

It won't come to pc for the simple reason of not being able to map the touch panel control to an xbox controller. May not like it, but Sony releases controller support for all their games on pc. This is literally impossible to do with an xbox controller as it has no touch panel.

@@therealdio314 Yes really. It will look even better on PC, and you'll be able to choose your input method instead of being forced to use the dualsense. If a game on console is on PC then 99% of the time it will be the best place to play that game, no ifs or buts.

@@j25-games96 HZD was a pretty good port apart from a few teething issues day one that were patched out. HFW is probably more of the same and this is also ported by Nixxes so chances are it's in very good hands. Nixxes have a very good track record of ports.

@@KiyujaIt is supposed to but previous versions didn't. Apparently Forspoken's implementation didn't make use of the GPU at all. It was mostly due to the structure of the game files.

@@Kiyuja DirectStorage only "does" that in a single game right now. It doesn't use GPU decompression in Forspoken or Forza Motorsport, both of which support DirectStorage.

Hope they make more games like Horizon. Love having lots of enemy variety with a large move set and animations. The combat is the right balance of souls-like without being as limiting. As for the PC version. Can't wait to see how it performs. I'm gonna need to replace my x34 ultrawide for a faster monitor. UW is a staple for me, and I don't think that will ever change.

Honestly I was having a little trouble with a dualsense on PC since it's was a terrible update? Luckily I already have the PS5 console and the duelsense controller works pretty fine. 😊😊😊

Fantastic game and I can't wait to play it, but there is no regional pricing. It's $60 in Turkey, which is insane compared to the $400 average monthly salary. So unless they do something about that, none can do.

The game is also a known quantity and not a completely new release. One of the few cases where preordering is acceptable.

I would love to play this but im scared at the same time of buying it, I have the first game on steam and recently i cannot get the game to run more than 5-10 mintues without it crashing my system. I have reached out multiple times to Guerrilla games and never hear back.

@@gpfhantom1890 I contacted AMD thinking maybe it could have been a GPU issue as it would crash the game and also my video card drivers would time out, it gave a strange error code that said to contact Guerrilla games on their website which I did like 12 times but never heard back. All AMD said was restore the system to fresh windows OS so I wiped Everything and set it up clean and the problem persists and AMD said it wasn’t the graphics card or the driver since it only happens with horizon zero dawn no other game.

@@gpfhantom1890 I restored the windows 11 OS completely to a new installation, updated bios to the latest bios and used the latest graphics card drivers and processor chipset from the motherboard manufacturer, the game was saved on a separate M.2 storage drive i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it’s still crashing
