Once the film ended, and I got some distance from it and time to think, I was reminded of the poetry of Xu Lizhi, specifically "I swallowed a moon made of iron," and others. Xu Lizhi was a young factory worker in China in a factory which produced iPhones, iPads, game consoles, and other electronics. He was a promising young author and poet. I've been watching youtube videos regularly for 15 years and this is my favorite channel by far. Joel's work here should be in the conversation with major sketch comedy shows like I Think You Should Leave or Key and Peele, etc...

As knight of iron said, it should be "films" because you are referencing one of a set of something (films that Joel has made that are your favorites). If it were your single favorite, it could be phrased "This has instantly become my favourite film of yours."
