Рік томуI began taking ice baths every morning 60 days ago and it has truly changed my life. Also who knew I’d gain over 100M views across platforms from just taking ice baths?!! As for incorporating Hermione (my daughter) into them, while some parents bond with their kids by taking them out for ice cream- we bond by taking ice baths together😊
This is Hermione's 15th "ice bath" with me and lets just say its the highlight of her day!

Why do people take ice baths? I know cold water is good for muscles and blood flow, iirc, since my partner takes cold showers. But it feels kinda odd for me to imagine someone taking an ice bath daily. 😅

@@marrav3794 there will have to be more studies done to prove scientifically this helps in all the ways they claim before I do it. What little studies have been done have conflicting findings. All the beliefs about it are more anecdotal in nature. I'm not knocking anyone doing it- im just saying im not going to make myself that uncomfortable until I know there is real gain from it.

@@marrav3794I started turning my showers cold after watching a video on the Anatomy Institutes channel about the benefits of ice baths. Mainly, increasing the amount of brown fat vs white fat in your body, and improved skin elasticity and circulation. That was the studied, known beneficial reasons. I'm still working to increase my tolerance, and don't know if I'll ever take an actual ice bath. But it definitely helps jolt you out of ADHD burnouts!

@@marrav3794you can get ”addicted” to the feeling that comes after you get up. First you might hate it but after practicing it, you might find yourself wanting do it often just for the afterwards feeling👍
