I’m horrified by the lack of action by fellow Americans. I bring it up constantly and see mostly averted gazes. I try to tell people we are not powerless. I’ve been harassing all my politicians since October, and I email Joe at least once a day. This is unbearably shameful. The world cannot be the same again.

I grew up in a settlement in Israel in religious Zionist home, and went on a long journey to deprogram my belief system and see the truth of the situation. I think it’s important to have empathy and compassion for the people whose minds have been captured and indoctrinated, and have had the trauma of the Jewish people’s past weaponized to make them victims of this abuse. A captured mind can’t see beyond the filters of the program, even when it’s in front of their own nose. I know this, because that was me. I know more and more people who are going through an awakening process and have deep hope and knowing that the tides will turn and truth will prevail. Much love to everyone.

I’m so glad someone is talking about the indoctrination that happens to Israeli youth and Jewish youth in the USA too. The racism and xenophobia and dehumanization of Palestinians is deeply ingrained from a very early age. Not just society but in their schooling curriculum. It’s so important to understand. Right now most Israelis that see the protests around the world to free Palestine…Not only are they told that those protests are for Hamas. Which obviously they aren’t but for freedom which is what Hamas and all Palestinians wish for but they don’t understand at all why people are protesting. They are so far indoctrinated that they literally don’t understand why people around the world would wish them to stop attacking Palestinians In Gaza or the West Bank or even in Israel proper. They just don’t understand because they are so brainwashed. Also something he didn’t bring up that I think is important about October 7th is that it was a military operation. They attacked military bases. They never attacked the concert and were strict about attacking military targets. The did attack settlements but that was against Israelis who were shooting and attacking back. So sure the people around there didn’t expect it and life is good, but it’s very important to point out that the civilian deaths at the concert and the deaths in settlements with hostages and even the military bases, they were fired upon indiscriminately by Israel. When people talked about the horror of what the saw when they went in afterwards that was Israel’s destruction. They used helicopters and tanks and fired upon groups of Israeli citizens fleeing. They killed hundreds of their own people. Also hamas took hostages to exchange with Palestinian children who are held in Israeli prison. So they didn’t kill many there however isreal and the Hannibal directive which we’ve seen footage of they fired on those homes with hostages and Hamas. They fired on fleeing vehicles. They fired on buildings with hundreds of Israeli hostages. There were cars that were attacked and burnt to a crisp with only Israeli citizens and even a child in a car seat. That was the only baby that died and it was Israel. There was no beheadings. There was no cutting out of a fetus there was no rapes. There was none of that. Hamas didn’t tie up hostages and burn them to death. Israel fired on the building where the hostages were tied up and they all died together with Hamas. The lies and racism and dehumanization of Palestinians that Israel constantly spreads throughout the country and the world are lies. And the concert was fired on by Israel, civilians were fired on by Israel. There’s plenty of testimony and video footage of Israel firing upon its own people at a concert whether it was a mistake or not, it happened. Hamas doesn’t even have the weapons to do the damage people saw. And then they blamed Hamas and blamed Hamas for all the civilians that Israel killed themselves. Hell, Israel even blames Hamas for the civilian deaths in Gaza despite the fact that Israel is specifically targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure and not Hamas or their government. I mean they’ve even attacked the UN schools and refugee camps, and then blamed Hamas for all the atrocities they commit themselves. They mowed down pregnant woman with a tank but sure it must be hamas’s fault. They left babies to die and rot in incubators after promising to get an ambulance, but sure blame hamas. Anyway it’s important to at least point out that the destruction that people saw from Oct 7 was very much exacerbated and exaggerated by Israel’s own actions. And then they still went out there and lied through their teeth and said outrageous claims about hamas and Palestinians in order to ramp up racism and hatred of Palestinians. That was the goal. To make Israelis hate all Palestinians and believe them inhumane. When you think they beheaded 20 babies and raped hundreds of woman, and cut out a fetus from a pregnant woman or put a baby in an oven - all claims have been thoroughly disproven, are obvious lies and yet they served the purpose of making Israelis and people around the world believing Palestinians are monsters. Of course it’s all lies. Similar to the lies used against Jews by the Nazis. Which would be ironic if it wasn’t so awful. Still thanks for talking about this. The indoctrination is a serious issue when it comes to actually creating lasting peace. The IDF is posting their own war crimes on social media and celebrating them. They have no remorse because they don’t even see their own racism and bigotry and hatred. They are too brainwashed to realize they are killing innocent humans. Not monsters or human animals but humans. Just regular humans like the rest of us. Palestinians feel like their heart is ripped away when their loved one is taken from them. They pray and ask for help when they feel all is lost. They help and support each other when times are tough. They laugh and cry and fight when they feel there is no other way. And the celebrate when their child is returned home after being tortured in Israeli prison for 3 years, since age 13 for posting a picture of a Palestinian flag on social media. They are just human and I’m grateful the rest of the world is at least waking up to the atrocities of Israel. And it’s segments like this that help the world understand how serious the indoctrination of Israeli youth, and Jewish youth around the world can be. It’s a lot to go against, especially with all the obvious lies and propaganda that is parroted repeatedly about these attacks when none of it happened. The Israeli state has a very clear goal when they push these lies. And we cannot let them continue without trying to spread the truth.

i spent 3 months studying Hebrew at the university of Jerusalem ten years ago and during my stay, I met an Israeli, probably a bit younger than Miko, and he told me that after participating in the war in Lebanon and receiving a medal for it, he decided to leave the country and he sounded disgusted by his own past and the country itself, and its army. he was back there to do business but both his children and his ex-wife were American. from what i gathered, there was no chance he would ever live in Israel again.

Before October 7, a Mexican friend had to travel with his wife to Israel, only for a couple of months, and they were shocked by the level of racism there.

I respect Miko. Correction. The Palestinians are not the weakest. To have and to be fighting 75+ years against such brutality. They are strong. They are a most remarkable people-and they will win. Free Palestine!

I am sorry, I understand the importance of understanding Israel and the entirety, from creation through present day….but as I listen I cannot help but feel the exact similarities as having grown up in a family of multigenerational military officers or in more common words as a military brat. My father like his father was an officer. He served in the Vietnam war, as a squadron commander and in aiding cia with reconnaissance. Most of his friends continued with the miltary and cia, with orquestrating the Iran-Contra scandal. To have these people in our home on holidays, their stories and laughter yet sunken hollows behind their eyes…. I was raised to shoot and be a survivalists before school age. However before adulthood I became an activist, a black sheep one might say. I advocated before the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and actually left the U$ for good. The damnation I received from my family and the government for siding with law and morality was the climax of hypocrisy. Now today, these beyond saintly men are broken and abandoned by their amorality and beliefs in a criminal government. Their minds and bodies plagued with the chemicals and nightmares of war.

I just watched the documentary "Tantura". It describes exactly , waht is said here. Only very few Israelis who were there when it happended (when they did it), want to remember. If one wants to dig deeper (Teddy) he becomes an outcast.

Imagine a directive what are you can’t talk about what really happened to your people and what your grandmother and grandfather told you. As an American non-Jewish person I feel like I’ve fallen through the Looking Glass. How did we not know any of this?!

I worked with a Palestinian in the states who said one wrong thing to an Israeli soldier and was beaten mercilessly, and, once he was on the ground, soldiers jumped on his back. He was left for dead with a broken back and barely survived. Thankfully he was able to recuperate. With all the racial animus in Israel highlighted by this interview, I can understand why they were willing to hurt him over a small comment he made.

A couple of points I'd like to make are: Maybe 10.07 was worse in how many Israeli's got killed, but if the Palestinians took back 22% of their land in the early 70's, that would make that attack worse. Take into account that the IDF may be responsible for as many as 20% of the deaths on 10.07 by virtue of the Hannibal doctrine, and 10.07 looks less and less like a terror attack and more like the insurgency it actually is. Then there's the bit about the holocaust. Ashkenazi were being murdered by Germany, not Sephardic, or Israelis. There may have been one here or there, but 99% of the Jews who were being exterminated were Ashkenazi. This is important because: A: Israelis were safe except for their own war they were waging at the time. B: While Israel loves to play the holocaust card, and they love the Ashkenazi for qualifying that card, they actually sponsor archeological and anthropologist's research to work to find biological proof that the Ashkenazi are not ethnic Jews and therefore do not have a right to Israel the same way as ethnic Jews. This would essentially make them second class citizens in Israel. So Israeli racism knows no bounds as they'll gladly cannibalize their own if they feel it suits their purpose. And they themselves dishonor the memory of Jews exterminated by Germany in the 30's and 40's.

I had a rich connected Israeli who was made rich working for the government, whose unknown job was created with the US aid, use the money he made from US aid to buy a house in Hollywood and throw out my friend who was a black artist and actor from the golden age. The stress of having to move at his age killed him. That's what they do with our aid. That's why the Pentagon refuses an audit. Little of that money goes to "defense", a lot of the rest of it goes into the stock exchange to pump ups stocks of rich oligarch families and put it on the natl debt for the next generation to pay off. With emotions being high right now, it's very difficult for me to listen to this interview. I can only handle so much anger and not allow it to consume me. It's a battle for balance right now. "Be angry, yet sin not.". From what I have gathered from this and other interviews is that Zionists became what they hated. Better to be the victimizer than to be a victim ever again. But they struck out against, as mentioned, not the people who committed the genocide against them, but at everyone around them that wasn't a part of their group. Given the same impuntiy that the SS were given. Basically bringing with them the same tools that had been used by the Nazis against them, to subjugate those around them.
