yes, but you have to think of the different context. due to technology, they got lax protecting the vault because they assumed that alarms + tough barriers would be enough. without the tech they probably would have compensated with more protection

I don't think it's automated, but it's certainly annoying. "The Paranormal Scholar" narrator is a great female narrator in this genre - should have gotten someone more like that.

Horrible f•cking take from an absolute 🤡... That being said, I have *100× more* respect for these old men who "stole millions" from some jewelry businesses, than I do for the all the old politicians who _steal their millions_ right out the pockets of the very citizens who entrusted them with their position‼️ Jewelry businesses used propaganda in combination with illegal market manipulation (all government sponsored) in order to fabric a supply/demand market for "precious stones" that had been plundered in *unfathomable amounts* from Africa and Asia through exploitation of the local people (and *true* owners of said stones). As far as I'm concerned, those old legends picked a target that was _more than_ deserving 💯 Whereas politicians not only steal $ directly from their citizen's checks in the form of "taxes", but they *also* except $ from corporations & billionaires in exchange for prioritizing _their interests_ over the citizens... Also, recently many have started feverishly working to *steal our rights* on top of our $‼️

When the news broke about the robbery, people were shocked. When it was revealed that grandads were behind the robbery people were in awe. I don't agree with thieving, but respect your elders had new meaning.

I worked in a restaurant back in 2014 and bought and sold jewellery as a side hustle and said about Hatton Garden never being hit Cue a year later an ex co-worker calling me Basil as I live about 40 miles away I've been there to sell silver since then and to window shop of course
