You're lying. I'm born and raised here and I've never heard any doubts that he did it. Everyone was just so relieved that he was caught. Of course he did it, he kept photos and "trophies" of his crimes! I even know a couple people that had crossed paths with him, and they both remembered him as being really cold and giving them a bad feeling.
