I agree with you but I would just add that I don’t think people are truly “evil hearted” as much as they are narcissist and sadistic which is usually a response to childhood trauma. It’s hard to do but it is possible to be compassionate without compromising your own boundaries or making yourself a victim to these people. Healthy anger is a great way to protect yourself from them. Unhealthy anger towards these people is usually a response to your own trauma inflicted by them. Unhealthy anger stays with you after they are gone and continues to do damage to you. It will compromise your relationships with good people by making it very difficult to trust them or believe they love you.

If a significantly larger person bullies someone smaller and the smaller person fights back, they might end up getting beaten up even more, making it difficult for them to effectively express their justified anger. We should have a class in high school on preparing for parenthood. Many people shouldn't have kids because some raise bullies or criminals.

Many people should not have kids because some of the kids turn out to be bullies and criminals? Is that even a reasonable statement? What I believe is that parents need to introduce their children in a healthy and productive way to life as soon as possibly. Not raise snowflakes that always feel anxiety or feel bullied. Don't get me wrong I would never teach my child to act like that towards others, but I believe that bullies are as valuable as any other person for they introduce you to adversity and eventually how to deal with it. Over the years I have realized that tough and unpleasant moments are there not for you to feel like a victim or feel sorry for yourself but find a way to overcome them and grow as a person. Once you start thinking in such a way you immediately feel more happiness and meaning in life...

@@jackdeniston59 Woah! Have you not noticed a proportion of nurses are male? Like my husband … for those not involved in the profession, it’s pretty easy (and petty) to point the finger and judge. When you’ve worked for 23 hours straight in an operating theatre putting together patient after patient who’ve been involved in mining accidents, MVAs, stabbings, shootings, MBAs, emergency caesarians, sugar mill accidents, boating accidents +++ then been given 10 hours recovery time before you go back and do it all over again, then you can talk. And they do this day after day. Fortunately, my husband’s pretty good at managing his mental and physical health, but medical/surgical professionals are expected by upper management to take all the traumas, illnesses, distress and death on the chin and remain unaffected. Good reminders!! From an subtle energy perspective, I will add that it's best not to point a finger at someone, as we see in the video actors; because it literally sends negative energy stream into their face or chest, which starts a fight in them. But do stand up for yourself verbally. I've been really surprised to see how bullies nearly always back off when I express anger aloud. Because they finally realize they need to take my point of view and my wellness seriously, that I matter and I know it and I will NOT put up with their crap anymore. Express that rage, folks, he's right. Make clear your feelings and make clear your boundaries and follow through on any consequences you said would happen if specific things occur again. Defend your health and happiness, please! You matter and you have a right to healthy boundaries and to clearly express them. Some people (bullies) need to hear anger to even take us seriously.

@palexharder82
@palexharder82 9 місяців тому
It's context specific. Generally when your anger comes up and you have to adjust it to what and who you are encountering that's causing it, the line between just and unjust anger is mostly subjective and if you have people that get a rise out of pushing you mentally or physically keep in mind they would gaslight you out of boredom and to deflect any responsibility. Unfortunately the 'right' way to go about it is a mixture of assertiveness and clearly relaying your boundaries in a healthy and forethought manner. In the heat of the moment losing yourself is a common occurrence and acting out is fairly normal. All you can do if things turn out in an infavorable way is give yourself time to reflect and understand what there is to learn from what you experienced. Through this reflection and understanding it shall help your generate a sense of discipline and awareness in these situations so you can better handle them in the future.

Understanding the difference between healthy and unhealthy anger is important. When you're feeling particularly angry and want to yell or say hurtful things, try this: Take a deep breath, step away if possible, and allow yourself to cool down. This manner, you can deal with your emotions constructively while still respecting yourself and others. 💕

Yes, for me there should be a second part of the question, what happens when healthy anger is expressed but it isn't respected anyway especially repetivedly and cannot leave the situation? I think i get that that is what becomes unhealthy anger....but whats the process between these two...?
@yourinnerchildmatters
@yourinnerchildmatters 8 місяців тому
The transition from frustration to unhealthy anger usually involves a series of processes, including initial irritation, reflection, emotional escalation, and finally, unhealthy expression. To break the pattern and maintain emotional well-being, it's important to recognize these stages and use techniques for coping like deep breathing, mindfulness, or talking to someone you trust. Thank you for your question!😊

I can hardly believe my ears about how the doctors and doctors-to-be are traumatized before they even reach their patients. I volunteer to help overworked mothers by cleaning for them and I find it so satisfying, maybe because when I leave, I see the difference I've made for the mother. It had occurred to me that the doctors I've been seeing lately are so frustrated because they can hardly do ANYTHING to help their patients. Nothing real, anyway. No, they don't come out and say that, rather they either respond angrily to the complaint or send us on some wild goose chase because they don't know what we need to do to get real help. How sad that so many parents push their kids into medical school for a life doomed with their hands tied behind their backs. If you want to make a difference in someone's life, LISTEN to them. Empathize with their pain. You'll get more satisfaction than a doctor who cannot help a patient.

I’m glad Matè (Matthew) is doing this. This is much needed. I just hope his fans know that they are being informal. His title would be Dr. Gábor. Thank you for sharing this@d.parker, must have been excruciating to carry this for such a long time. As you are sharing this, I thought of a passage in scripture Exodus 20 in particular about honouring your parents, it is very difficult to honour them when you feel hurt. When my granny's personality changed, we did not understand the person she became. She used to shout at me, cuss me out and would get too close for comfort, would want to physically slap me. I remember one incident she was about to strike, I was debating in my mind whether to strike back, I knew it was all wrong but it was God's grace that held me back and my husband was there. This is a serious cause and legal right for a spiritual curse. If possible ask for forgiveness from mom, ask from God and please forgive yourself. I pray that this message reaches you well. I am sorry for the loss and breaking of momentum in the relationship with your mother.

@7:30 or so Dr Gabor mentions that the highest level of empathy for medical students is before they start their training. A large part of being in that sphere is being able to convey bad news to your patient. In that regard - the employee has to steel themselves and their personal feelings in order to provide the best care possible. So while I agree that empathy is important, it is not the end all - be all.
@yourinnerchildmatters
@yourinnerchildmatters 9 місяців тому
Dr. Gabor's insight is important. Empathy is undoubtedly a good foundation for medical practice, especially prior to training. Emotional strength is required to balance empathy with the ability to give difficult news. It's about putting patients first while maintaining professional detachment. So, while empathy is important, you are correct that it is not the only aspect in giving great care.
