I left this comment 4 days ago and was at like last stages of my depression because for me it's been 2months of long distance relationship/slow, painful break up(high school sweetheart onto college...), but now I moved on gradually to realizing that I miss the person I wish she had been, rather than her. I'm only 4 days in, trying to be positive. Be kind to yourself. Focus on you. I already forgive her and myself for what happened. Holding on the resentment will hold me back. It still hurts.. Yes. But it's okay for it too hurt. She choose to end it, I can't control that. But I can control what I do with myself now. No contact. Grieve when I need too. Go to the gym, see friends, walk, etc. I am also figuring out my flaws.. No one is perfect. I am seeing a therapist to talk everything through. I don't want to go through the same stuff in my next relationship. In every situation, try and do what is right for your mind and body.
