You can make the controls less sensitive in software. Alter the parameters there so that large movement on joystick = half as much movement at rudder, alerions and flaps. Nice build. I estimate total cost at about $30. Love it.

Great. Now with the new regulations around the world,the challenge would be keeping a plane within 250g while flying indoors at slow speed, requiring really lightweight hardware without the need to buy expensive mini receivers and servos. Is there any Arduino compatible module with built-in wireless which would be comparable in weight to an indoor suitable RC receiver?

Abi ben 4-5 sene önce yani 7-8. Sınıfta bu tür maket uçak ve ornithopter yapiyordum motorlu kumandalı değil de lastikle uçuruyordum. O zamanlar böyle bir kanal yoktu sürekli yabancıların videolarını izleyip anlamaya çalıyordum şimdi sınava hazırlandığ için bu tür işlere pek vakit ayıramıyorum. Hayalim üçak mühendisliği okumak inşallah okur ve sizler gibi olurum ayrıca en büyük hayalimi gerçekleştirdiğiniz için de çok teşekkür ederim allaha emanet sağ salim kalın👍🏆

Been a while since building but eventually plucked up courage to fly. Well...... the is no doubt the design is spot on, it flew straight as a die from a hand launch but as I suspected my motor wasn't fast enough. I managed a flight, turned it slowly (don't think I had enough rate set on controller) and landed to heavy. Because I had only used underfloor heating insulation it broke the nose and tail section. It's not worth repairing but I'm so confident the design is good I'm going to make another and see if I can find a faster motor. Thanks for this video👍

build a simple plane it looks simple but its not great idea the easy part is making the plane its how to ues proper components and connections. At first it took some getting ues to the controls but great stuff. To make something out your head and make it fly clever guy. Keep the good work up

Honestly i’m smart enough to be accurate about videos so i enjoyed building of this airplane and i’m widely smiling because it is flying exactly when he notice that he should fly gently so i did skip to the end if it is real or not.

The hard controls are, in my eyes, just a programming problem. You should program it so that the plane increases the angle a bit slower, not immedately to full.

I've made this using underfloor heating insulation 6mm, it's not as strong as the foam board but I had some left over. Not sure about the speed of motor required either but it feels fairly powerful. Waiting for a wind free day before I go out and smash it to pieces 😟☺ oh by the way mine weighs only 132g

@@regcav87 Hi, sorry I didn't get back to you. The plane tried to fly but it was underpowered. It landed badly and snapped the front off. It wasn't really repairable so whilst waiting for a motor with the correct speed I built another using the corrugated plastic used for sign boards. This one was a lot heavier but very strong. I'm not an accomplished flyer so I let my friend do it. This time it did have enough power but it nosed down soon after trying to turn ( unsure if it was the wind, plane or flyer) There was no structural damage but the motor shaft had bent so didn't get another chance to fly. I've just received another motor and am currently waiting for a bit less windy day to have another go🙂👍 I am confident of your design based on the way it flew straight with the original foam board. In retrospect, I think I probably should have invested in the same material you used but it is fairly expensive in the UK. I'll try to remember to update you about the next attempt. Well, I got another motor installed it and tried again. This time, plenty of power and it flew like a dream, but........ we flew it round a few times but it was a little short of throw on the ailerons and there was a hedge behind us it went over the hedge and lost sight and control and landed in a cornfield. Searched high and low but didn't want to trample the corn underfoot so I'm afraid it's awaiting the Combine harvester 😟😟 Still I'm undeterred and am going to build another out of the corrugated plastic as it's very strong and not withstanding operator error we will fly again👍👍

@@hKNinan Thanks Hakan, I won't find it before the corn is harvested. I even flew over the area with a camera but didn't see it although the corn was shining white in the video so I guess the combine harvester will chew it up😣 Still I've got enough material to build another👍

Hi fantastic build if I can just give you one tip. Reduce the amount of movement on the Control Services. It has a lot of throw and if you reduce this will be much easier to fly.

Well just enlarge the wing towards the wingtips! I believe it will provide better gliding, better stability on roll (it looks twitchy now) and lower stall speed. 👍
