Sounds like you recorded this while walking outside. How did you keep the sound of your voice clean from background noise? Or did you edit it out later?

In the middle of moving, which involves purging and emotionally letting go of a lot of things, the "you don't need more time, you just need to decide" has been a lifesaver. it arises in my consciousness unbidden with surprising frequency.

Seth's point about writing a provocation rather than a prescription is so important. To add, it's crucial to understand the difference between creating demand and simply meeting it; the former involves crafting messages that challenge the status quo, much like Seth's approach to thought leadership. It positions you not just as a solution, but as a thought leader in your industry.

Resistance can come from fears , doubts and simply not wanting to change.

I love Tim specificity - practicality in his podcasts, writing, and just I want to hear his mind (even if it changes), so I would consume his output because I know it's from Tim. I don't care if some of it could sometimes be dry, complicated, not provocative, long, inconsistent, not being on character, whatever; I read it because of his mind, his unique experiences, no writer can write like Tim, that's enough for me as his reader.

Cool format for UKposts. Actually imagined this format after watching your podcast with Cal Newport & the one with Arthur Brooks recently. Have listened from your blog twice, once working, once walking my dog. Anyway, enough of me! Thank you Tim

With all due respect to Seth, I don’t think it was the most appropriate choice or way to “end” the Akimbo podcast. Seth often refers to himself as a ‘teacher’. Then if so, the podcast is akin to lessons. I’m not sure if it’s right for a teacher to just abruptly decide to stop lessons to create a so-called vacuum for themselves. Hearing here that this was Seth’s rationale kinda erodes trust. Is he going to bail on folks on a whim nary a word? It’s of course Seth’s or any creator’s prerogative when they wish to stop but there’s also a sensibility and accountability to the audience, to the people enrolled on the journey. IMO that’s what a professional would do. He should have showed up with a plan and account of what’s to happen
