Thanks a ton, Ive downloaded a few versions and they've worked with no issue. Hoping to get the most recent available patch downloaded too so i can play Terrorist Hunt on the Current-ish maps since Ubi decided it wasn't worth keeping in game.

I was able to open it before but after a day I tried to open it and it wasn’t loading I tried editing the game name and username. Is there anything I could do to fix this?

Always fails at the download stage with a 401 error. "Aborting" and doesnt download main file as a result (creates folder etc.)

As I stated at the 1:35 timestamp in the video, every anti-virus software will see the liberator tool as a virus and will quarantine it, to prevent it from happening you need to either whitelist the exe or the folder you are placing it in.

it does work but be careful, my pc went box tv static after closing the game, its never happened until i downloaded those files and opened that game. so do this at your own risk.

try changing the setting on chrome which makes you choose where to download the file to, if u select ur folder which is whitelisted you wont get that error.

One question, is it safe to invite randoms (ppl in discord servers for example) through Radmin VPN? I assume they're able to see my IP and connect directly to me, so I should probably only play with people I trust?

i dont, thats the only one i know of. in the about section of the liberator tool shows you all versions it works on, stops working after shifting tides

@@Mcdarnyl No I'm not. Siege used to have better lighting and a better atmosphere. The movement was better, and the reticle used to realistically bounce around when you shot. Now, it stays in the center of the screen, making the gun feel fake and stiff. That reticle change single-handedly ruined the gunplay for me. Before it, the gunplay felt really realistic.

@@Wyn3e Why are most games able to pull it off? Siege went the lazy route and just removed the feature. Also, the visual recoil wasn't stupid, unless you're talking about pistols (which were actually realistic but not really balanced).

If you can find 9 other people then yes, there is no matchmaking, you have to find and invite everyone

The people who made the tool used to have it for Uplay but they stopped support for it, maybe adding it as a non steam game would work, but I really don't know. It's worth a try

@@washedboi I honestly wish I knew, idk. I own a copy on both steam and Uplay, and you're the first person to ask me. It's worth a try to link it and then start the download. Only thing I see happening if it doesn't work is that it simply won't start the download

only if you open the liberator tool or the downloader while you have the live build running, you will get banned pretty much immediately

I'm running into an issue if I download any other version than Chimira. I follow the steps properly as stated before in the video. I install the file, launch either Ubisoft vulkan or normal siege .exe and I am met with an error message that reads "The procedure entry point SteamInternal_FindOrCreateUserInterface could not be located in the dynamic link library steam_api64.dll" I've searched for the dll file, but I'm not sure where to paste it with this being a non steam game. no, throwback is a build of siege run on the client side. throwback and the live build of siege dont talk to each other at all.

i cant download that installer even if i whitelist it or whatever. so i tried another one in the discord and it worked. BUT... it downloaded the files just as shown in the video but when i launch siege from the folder, it lauches regular siege???

It will always launch regular siege until you copy over the 7 PLAZA files into the downloader folder with the game files you downloaded

playing old versions has zero effect on the live build of the game. only reason why youd be banned is if you opened the liberator tool while playing the live build of the game, that is an instant ban

Just as a future reference if a file disappears you can go back to the downloader, and download the version again and it will give you the missing files

Haven't done it in a while but I'm pretty sure nothing is going to appear as you type it. Type it in notepad and then copy and paste it and that should work if you're unsure of you're typing it correctly

Moving the downloader to a different folder and launching it again will redownload the resources folder
