To upload the program I had to put it into bootloaded mode first by holding IO0 on the MB board and pressing RST on camera board. Then I pressed RST again on the camera board again and it was working.

Hi, there is MDNS you could use. Just look at File->Examples->WebServer->Advanced WebServer and you will see this line inside the setup if (MDNS.begin("esp32")) { Serial.println("MDNS responder started"); } you see in the code "esp32" and that is your URL to access the camera like esp32/ and even if the IP changes, you could access it. Oh, you can’t if micro usb is connected. Pier the module via 5V pin so you can measure

Hi, still did not understand. Are the LED lights turn on based on body shape from camera or it is shadow on the wall? if LED lights turn on based on camera image, then it would be very expensive to purchase all those LED light. Do able but I won't make it as it is not practical and will not help anyone with their actual project. and I am not sure if I make the video with full instruction, anyone would be interested to spend like $400 or more to make it. I am not fan of having fun. it must be useful and help people. not sure. if people will watch it to have fun. even if they did, will I get 1 million view in two months to make $400?

Won’t work. In your laptop that is WIFI network card. This is a microcontroller with wifi capability. You might need to work for month to figure it out .

There could be wrong setting in arduino IDE or changes in the code. For the IP address check the SSID of your wifi. It is case sensitive. Book is not the same as book for SSID

I just got this to make a doorbell camera. I followed the instructions, and my code would successfully upload but whenever I press the reset button on the camera board or the adapter, I’d not get anything in the serial monitor or if I unplug the camera and plug it back in, it would show random question marks that would go on forever. I am considering returning it. Any solutions?

@@robojax I did that, and it is still doing that. It was always on the one you said, as I never changed it bc it was a default. I think there may be something wrong with the board as it’s not even trying to connect to wifi although the code is correct

Hi, I have shown all settings before uploading the code.just follow what I did. If it does not work the your camera is different. Make sure to purchase it from the provided link and hopefully they ship the exact item.

it is WiFi and you must know by now how far you can take your laptop or mobile phone from your wifi router.

As we know that we should open the ip address where the device is connected to wifi. Is it possible that we can open the ip address into another device without connecting it from the wifi? How do we solve this

you can see IP address of devices are on the same network. Networ at home is your Wi-Fi. this is like you want to see IP address of computers in your local bank. Not possible.

When trying to use Thonney(Python), it tells me that the device is busy. I tried resetting, Ctrl+C and other ways to stop it but nothing. Your help will be welcomed.

The code is for Arduino and it is C, I am not sure what code you are using on Thoney
