I think my favorite thing is that this is almost entirely wrong. 1) Do NOT cut off an inch. Cut off half a centimeter at most, otherwise your wrapper will unravel. 2) Don’t “Burn” the end before proper lighting. You want to heat up and seal the tobacco layers before lighting to make sure it combusts evenly, not scorch them and make the flavor taste like scorch marks. 3) You don’t have to put out a cigar anywhere near the band. That’s a waste of the entire final third. You can keep smoking until it’s uncomfortable to hold, just make sure you don’t overheat it by puffing too frequently. 4) Not an incorrect statement but I feel it should be added that if your cigar starts to taste harsh you can blow out of it and light the end aflame. This purges the ammonia and tar buildup, returning the cigar to the great, clean flavor that it’s intended to have! Hopefully this helps a bit!

For the love of Christ do not follow these instructions. You need to snip just a little bit off the cap NOT & I repeat NOT 1 inch off the cigar. The cap is what holds all the tobacco leaves together, if you cut past that cap your cigar will fall to bits on you.

I cut my cigars about 1cm or less if possible. The wrapper will peel off on its own as the heat from the tip gets closer. You can smoke an entire cigar by putting it into a pipe, with the burning tip outwards of the pipe.

The First time I smoked a cigar I didn’t know how short you needed to go. I smoked that sucker down till there was only 3/4 to 1/2 inch left and I was starting to breathe in embers and concerned about my beard/mustache hairs getting singed. I held out my smoldering butt and asked the other guys I was with if it was ok to dispose of it, (they had joked around when teaching me that you smoke until there’s nothing left) you should have seen their eyes. Needless to say they were all impressed, especially since I didn’t burn my facial hair. A good tip is to take the butt and stick it in a tabacco pipe then you can smoke it all up without wasting any, also just cut off the cap, don’t cut off an inch.

there is a cap on the cigar that makes sure the cigar doesn't unravel you will cut it off if you cut off 1 inch get a punch cutter if you're not sure how much to cut off use a butane torch lighter, a match but let the red part burn off it will make your cigar taste worse, cedar wood light it any way you want but it burns off quickly but you should light it with a match or butane lighter to light the cigar keep whatever youre using at a moderate distance torch the cigar make sure ita evenly burning puff on it and that's how to enyoj a cigar.
