What would happen if you plug in the original charger that came with the laptop and a USB-C hub that is a 65 watts charger as well at the same time. Right now am only using the USB-B hub for its ethernet connectivity. So am not connecting it to its power source, but it shows that it is slowing down the original charger.

This is by far the best review I've seen! Well executed, the low toned voice and non-hurried approach give you a calming and relaxed viewing experience. Yet fully informational and detailed graphics complete the excellent presentation. I was getting ahead of myself thinking what about this?.... of course that was the next point covered! I didn't have any doubts or unanswered questions! I've watched many, many, many reviews of various laptops, as I'm currently in the market for a new laptop. This presentation is vastly ahead of it's competition. Bravo 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

@@user-pp1be8wp8x I got it and the battery life isn't all that. The keyboard has a nice click to it. The fingerprint scanner is pretty accurate and no problems. The screen is thin enough but doesn't wobble. Doesn't overheat often, unless you're using a major big app. The design is flawless. I do recommend that you invest in a keyboard protector. Speakers are good. That's all I could think of as of right now, I hope this helped a bit :)

I have the 13" with the AMOLED display, and it is beautiful, but very bright - and if you decrease brightness the colors get way oversaturated. The only setup with good color is at full brightness, and that is often too much for easy viewing, and accelerates battery drain. (All the same on the 15", but more battery drain.)

I purchased the HP Spectre x360 15-eb0053tx in July 2020 for $AUD4,699. It’s been a good laptop however on 27 November 2021 the wi-fi and Bluetooth chipsets suddenly stopped working with no apparent cause. I spent two days trying to rectify the problem including removing then downloading and installing the latest drivers, a network reset, then finally a complete reformat and reinstall of Windows 10. I tried these options over and over again. Nothing worked. I don’t see how it can be a hardware problem caused by damage because it has sat on a desk for 18 months and the laptop is still physically in mint condition. I am now left with a $4800 laptop, that is less than 18 months old, that has no ability to connect to the internet. HP have not been able to resolve this problem. It’s an expensive piece of junk.

Hey man, same problem over here and lots of others have complained about this too. I have the ebook one. Got it in Jan 2021 and started having issues in Oct 2022. Tried clean installation of the drivers and even got a windows reboot. No success. This is a hardware issue. Problem is the engineers of HP decided to integrate the wlan card into the motherboard so you can't even replace it separately... I have a wifi dongle now (usb), works perfectly fine. The only way to solve it unless you go for the motherboard replacement.

Does the geoforce chip make any difference if I don’t do any gaming? Is 11th gen tiger lake better at keeping the system cool and quiet?
@Jim52525252
@Jim52525252 3 роки тому
You can reduce the performance of the CPU and turn off the GPU to get cooler temps, but will still have them in times when you need or want that extra juice. The 1650ti max q is much better than the 11th gen built in graphics. I think the 11th gens excel in single core processing.
@FrankLeeMadeere
@FrankLeeMadeere 3 роки тому
The 11th gen uses less than half the power, has better battery life, and has better productivity performance than the 10th gen in most apps. It will not be as good for gaming or multi core encoding etc. However, if that's important, go Ryzen.

It is good, but not perfect. For that price it is made with very cheap fan it is loud it is noisy. Keyboard lights goes of every 10 seconds and you can not make timeout longer or make stay on. It is terrible future for keyboard. I talked to HP, but not solution. They block that future. It is my laptop and I want to keyboard light to stay on . What a terrible engineering. HP said only bla bla.
@rupertgreenlees9329
@rupertgreenlees9329 3 роки тому
You could get way more for the money but with Spectres you are spending a lot over the odds for the benefit of good design. Which is fine BUT... The design has to remain worth the premium. That means user first. The swapping a dedicated print screen for a useless HP key and even worse no alternative to timing out the backlight every 30 seconds to improve stats (leaving us users scrabbling around on the touchpad in the dark 100s of times per work session) are more problematic than HP probably realise. They are both HORRIBLE self serving design features which prioritise HP over the consumer. That sends a strong signal about tthe direction of HP design culture. This laptop proves HP can design well and then they choose not to for marketing reasons (better battery life access to HP services) and they take your money for premium consumer led design anyway. That is a serious wrong turn HP.

@@Kosm2599 Hi well I have to say I'm pretty angry with HP I paid £2,000 nearly $3,000 for a top of the range model. The fan is annoying but not that bad it just sounds noisy for a couple of minutes on startup then settles down. Overall it is clearly a good machine BUT on some sub-models (and its almost impossible to work out which ones) they have serious issues with 1. Backlight - this is the worst, you think its not a big deal but its a nightmare 2. Battery life, a close second 3. I've had two spectres now both had serious issues with the sound drivers requiring work in BIOS. HP wouldn't take mine back. Most people who did return theirs in favour of the Dell have been glad they did. Vote with your feet! Hopefully you are lucky and don't get one of the dodgy models that HP are claiming are not faulty. Those models that are good are great but it shouldn't be a lottery and it is ! Junk battery life and infuriating backlight are not small things for a $3k machine!
