so far I've never get those types of notification, but the sleep record and spO² is working well. and you'll get the notification if u sit for too long

5ATM is NOT for swimming. Fine for showering but usually not meant for taking it to the pool if you plan to swim with it

Do you "need" an app to use this watch as a mandatory requirement? If you didnt have a smartphone is it basically just a paperweight or can you still use most of its functionality?

You need the app to set it up and basically monitor your data. After the setup is not mandatory for it to be linked to a phone

I bought it yesterday.. And it doesn't reconnect automatically after disconnecting.. What the hell? I've used mi band 2 for 2 years.. And it was used to connect automatically if i get in the Bluetooth range....

It is not worth to upgrade from honor band 5. Workouts preset are worthless and are not working properly and/or a designed by people who are not interested in the fitness area. Same for Huawei watch fit. But otherwise it is working as it should, a decent band or watch whatever. I decided to go with huawei watch fit but i regret it already. Good luck
