The knock gestures work smoothly on my Mate 10 Lite. The trick is to "knock" the screen, like actually hitting it with your nuckle and then drawing a gesture. It is quite impressive IMO that it recognizes the difference between a touch with the nuckle and finger.

Very good phone for its price. If damsung do this with the same spec it will be more pricey than this. Ex. A8 with midrange processor. More pricey than this.

It's now late November 2021 and this phone is still my daily choice. Today's newer and more expensive phones with a hole in the screen, yikes! I purchased the Samsung Note 20 Ultra and ended up sending it back. No thanks! The Honor Note 10 is still a fantastic beast of a phone that I am going to hold onto for the foreseeable future. Oh, the latest security patch is as recent as summer 2021.

Pro tip: knuckle gestures work best when using the back of the knuckle.

It's an excellent phone. It's only drawback in 2020/21 is that it is not 5G. If Honor brought out a 5G version, I would buy it again. It will be interesting to see what direction the new owners of Honor pursue.

A disadvantage of the Honor Note 10 is that to make it more palm friendly it is longer and slimmer. I think the dimensions are 18.5 x 9. This is OK for playing video games, however there will be bars going down the side, if you attempt to watch the 16 x 9 Netflix. I have an older Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra which is 6.8 inches as opposed to the Honor's 6.95". However due to it being 16 x 9, my screen while watching Netflix is about 15% bigger as the configuration is perfect for Netflix

Watching on my Honor Note 10. In USA. It's running Android 9 with EMUI 9.1.0 FYI it's no better or worse than Mi Max 3 Running Android 10 plus newest MIUI 12.

Nope Honor Note 10 is better than Mi Max 3. I had the Mi Max 3 for 5 months and had no problems with it but the screen, audio, CPU are better on the Honor Note 10. No contest. Even now in 2019 the Honor Note 10 still holds it own. I have the 8gb 128gb version.
