Tbh I really hate when people call Hurkacz a servebot. Sure his FH is sometimes a liability, but BH is pretty good, shot tolerance too, volleys are among the best and movement for a guy that big excellent. And who cares if he wins some matches in TBs, final result is all that matters.

@@pureffm Though the stats aren't reliable. Players heights and weights are off dated. Hurkacz was 82kg years ago when he was slim. Right now my guess is he's around 90-95kg.

Wow korda is effortless, but doesn’t look as confident and silky smooth playing against top players. Congratulations to hurkacz on the big win, he’s been having a great season and needs this win after that lost to gael monfils. Hurkacz’s movement is just so good for a guy of his stature, and I expect more from him in the future, who knows maybe he’ll win miami. 🎉

I mean, from the highlights it looks like both of them played great. And both of their game fits grass. So even if Korda lost this match, I wouldn't say he's not ready for a deep run at Wimbly

lol the obsession. Its just a statement, nothings wrong with being confident. He certainly has the tools and skills (still needs to develop and strengthen some more e.g. serve) but still a brilliant player to watch and root for.

I love Korda i love his game i remember last year in the began of the season in Adelaide he reach the final against Novak and played in incredible match and in the Ao too He look good and in form i was looking for him he take Medvedev and Hurkacz out until that injury in the QF its disappointed to get injure when you are getting your level he still young i hope he reach his top

Korda is my favourite tennis player to watch in all of history, shame it just doesn’t translate to winning, it’s the era of defence prowess and big weapons rather than tactical offensive play

Tough loss for Korda, after playing beautiful tennis in the first two sets. Korda has one of the best styles of all the American players, but he lacks power.

Hurkacz ,the tiebreak specialist .for 3 sets played 2 tiebreaks .. It is not posible for him ever to win in easy sets..No FW 😂

I hope Korda took the positives from this match. I think he is improving on many fronts, compared to previous recent matches. Although he was unable to convert some crucial breakpoints, he saved quite a few critical ones too, proving he is getting there mentally. I think he absolutely knows what he needs to improve on, and that is to be quicker. Time to get back to the gym and build some more strength and flexibility?

when both players are 6 foot 5 and have strong serves, only a few points really determine the outcome of the match.

Actually Korda’s serve isnt as good for his height. Hubi returning abilities makes it look good. But that is one of his major weakness, he can have a bigger serve.

Seb needs a mental coach imo. Loses way too many of these close matches. He’s got the talent to breakthrough, needs something/someone to help him make that push. 😊

Korda has lots of good qualities but he’s just not a great mover. It’s okay. If he had better movement he’d be right up there contending. Big guys like Monfils, Medvedev and Tstsipas all move well.

It seems true new generation stars are emerging. It looks like Tsitsipas, Rublev, Fritz, Auger-Aliassime, Korda, Ruud, Rune, etc. are not one of them. At the moment, Alcaraz, Sinner have proven themselves. De Minaur is pushing up but there is one more huddle to go over. Shelton is unknown yet. And couple of new guys are too green to predict anything yet.
