2 years ago my dad was in a coma, and I've turned to this song for help. He manged to come back. Yesterday, he passed away. I found him on the floor of his bedroom. And here I am again...loosing myself in this wonderful song. It hurts. But as long as I am alive - my dad will live. Theo, Adam. Thank you. I played this at my gorgeous husband Andy's funeral in August 2020 as it was one of our songs. It still breaks my heart and brings me comfort in equal measure. We used to listen to Hurts on a Saturday night and dance round the living room together. Today is the 12th anniversary of us meeting and I miss him terribly so I thought I'd listen to some of our favourite songs 💛💛💛

My grandpa passed away in 2019.. At his funeral we played this song. It‘s about all of our emotions and Hurts was one of his favourite. When the song began everyone cried because all felt it and it is the best song to describe my grandpa.. Everytime I listen to it, I smile because of the good times...

My ex is the greatest woman I have ever met in my life. She was 9 years older than me, and I was a young fool with no experience nor ability to give her all the love she so deserved. I will always see her as an angel sent as a gift from God. A gift that I did not show appreciation for. When I decided to end things with her, I came home to find this song already playing on the TV. It was her way of telling me to "Stay". Despite my mistakes, she always believed in me. There was nothing that I did that stopped her from loving me with her whole heart and soul. The pain I saw in her eyes after the break-up killed something inside of me. Sometimes I wish I was older and more mature and ready to give her everything she deserved but I just did not have that ability. When I am ready, I'm not so sure I will find someone as amazing and angelic as her. I wish her all the best and all the happiness in the world, she deserves everything...

This song told me that everything is happening for a reason. I always used to listen to this song after my first love broke up with me. Back then I've never felt a pain like this and I thought my life would be over. But today I listen to this and think positiv about everything. Even if we used to loved eachother she hasn't been the right one and I should be thankful to her. Because the wrong one went out my Heart and the right one entered 387 days later.
