The keiren villan arc in the indigo disc is gonna be insane!

I really liked the story from this part of the DLC! I went from genuinely disliking Carmine because of her abrasive attitude to genuinely getting choked up at her goodbye at the end of the story. Kieran getting all wrapped up in his head and refusing to healthily communicate with your character (setting up a rivalry for the Indigo Disk), and subsequently being teased as an enemy for the future was also really cool! Along with the way the Loyal Three and Ogerpon were handled, there really was something cool they did with subverting expectations and the themes of getting to properly know someone before you make assumptions about them. I can't wait to see how they follow up on it in the Indigo Disk. I'm happy to wait because there's a lot of shiny hunting I want to do in Kitakami in the meantime :D

The Teal Mask was SO much fun. Despite the performance issues, I really enjoyed my time playing! I give the DLC a 9/10! 🧡

Carmine says there's a rumor that the crystals found in that pool where you fight Milotic apparently have the power to bring the dead back, that people who have gone up that mountain to that pool have encountered those who have passed away. And Kieran was hanging around their grave for a while with the mask imbued with those crystals. That's probably why the L3 came back to life. Also, idk if it's just the setting, but I kinda got Higurashi vibes from the DLC. But a new kid arriving in a rural village shortly before festival takes place, being forced to keep secrets related to events that occurred during the festival, Kieran's "Liar!" breakdown and unhinged scratching, and the "evil" god (or legendary, in this case) actually being a good guy, was just weirdly reminiscent. It's definitely coincidence tho.

The 2 main characters of this are so opposites: I started the DLC finding Carmine annoying and Kieran a shy little guy By the end I find Kieran annoying and want to see further development between our character and Carmine

I had a blast with this DLC. The Mewtwo raid from the last few weeks was such a cool way to build up excitement too. The way this story very clearly builds up to the Indigo Disk DLC was so cool, I’m glad they’re not separate stories. I loved all the new Pokies and a bunch of my old favorites returned. When I saw Kommo-O and Chandelure I was PUMPED! I thought I really wasnt going to like the teal mask Pokémon but OMFG Ogrepon is SO GODDANG ADOREABLE! I only liked the design of the Fezendipiti and now I feel validated that I didn’t like their designs because they were a-holes anyway lol

that one person didn't got the munchlax because he didn't complete the minigame in all 3 difficulties and I had a really fun experience with the ogre oustin

Thank you for making a great expression and how I really felt about partnering up with Carmine throughout the DLC.

As someone who couldn’t get the real mask dlc. I really enjoyed Andrew play and do a full on walkthrough about this dlc.

Just finished the story now, was so good and so fun, can’t wait for the next one Also super challenging, I was using Pokémon from the dlc island and levelling them up and the battles were still challenging

I love how out of all the playthroughs I've seen you are the only one who acknowledged Carmine was gonna say something before the phone call.

I’m not the only one who swapped out the old team for a new one! I got a Zoroark, Lycanroc, Decidueye, Luxray, Snorlax, and Mimikyu, most of them just laying around in my boxes beforehand (Decidueye and Lycanroc both being shiny)

It feels like the teal mask was a game that overall would be played just for the story the rewards don't even seem worth the effort you have to put in to complete in 100% but if course I followed this video and did all of the side quest except for the balloon mini game which will give you a shiny munchlax and the Nemona's parents quest

I instantly clicked when I saw the notification

at first i kinda felt bad for kieran knowing we had to lie to him, then he started lashing out and it went from guilt to being very unnerved, then he apologized for stealing the teal mask so i apologized for lying, he said thanks so i was thinking “yay we’re on good terms again” but then he just dipped after me and carmine encouraged him to come with us, i got to spend more time with ogerpon while he convinced the village of her innocence (while a nice thing to do, could’ve been saved for after coming with us to fight the lousy three) then ogerpon ran up to me saying she wanted to go with me and my heart melted then kieran tries to run the hands and take ogerpon for himself and at this point i just gave up on him i gave you many chances to get with ogerpon and you ignored it, it’s not my fault ogerpon chose to go with me and im not gonna hand her over to you because you liked her first

people say its carmine's fault for keiran turning evil some say keiran was a sociopath all along some may argue it was just bad circumstances that led to it some say the disloyal three are the main reason but in reality its KEIRAN AND CARMINE'S OWN GRANDPA'S FAULT 1 : the people is these times were more accepting of facts and if he who is far more experienced and a long running bloodline tale that can explain everything "bUt NoO wE hAVe tO nOt try aNytHiNg sinCe iT mAy ruIn oUr iMAge" 2 : he didn't tell his ogre(pon) obsessed grandchild the truth and didn't stop carmine (now look at poor little bean boi keiran) 3 : he let carmine bully keiran 4 : he never tried to do anything to help the ogre(pon) the list goes on so conclusion grandpa is the root cause of every bad thing
