i hope more creators follow this trend and start to look at what makes them happy instead of what makes them money. yeah its not exactly good for revenue, but hopefully if it becomes the norm, patreon and crowdfunded content becomes the norm so creators can make what they want without compromising their livelihood. i have the sneaking suspicion that creators are beginning to take control back from the websites. jazza's character creation events, ethan becker's crowdfunded animation projects, i hope people start realizing that they can be happy and make money at the same time
