At 6:33 it says that "...the dashcam doesn't lie...." In this case, yes. But in many of these videos, we viewers see edited footage. We don't see what caused the "bad" driver to blow up, to brake check, to hurl invectives. No, no we don't. One great thing about cameras in our vehicles is back in the old days if you rear-ended somebody it was automatically your fault. Many of these videos show that that isn't always true.

It's been a while but side impact crash bars are mandatory on European trucks but they also protect the load. You get less decapitations too.

The word is "TIE ROD" not tire rod. And what broke is the lower ball joint. The "stunned" clip is the rear drum brakes of a cheap and small FWD car. If your mechanic was stunned, its because they are stupid. Thats just the spring tension on the brake shoes pushing on the drum.

As soon as I saw the terrain of the 2 truckers, I knew that they were traveling on I-84, the Columbia Gorge, along side the Columbia River which separates Washington and Oregon. Pray for a Head wind while traveling through the gorge, because if you’re bucking a Head wind, you’ll loose more than 50% of your mpg. I was in a small car one time with a roof top carrier. I was on the floor, in 3rd gear and could only go 50mph. When I’d up shift into 4th gear, my little hatchback would slow down.

3:20, so I am in no way defending the white Honda Civic, who was driving like a complete maniac, but this crash shows how the US will stubbornly refuse to implement underride guards on the sides of semi trailers to save a bit of lobbyist's money. Any normal sized passenger vehicle that t-bones a semi trailer (remember, in some accidents it could be the truckers fault) is highly likely to get beheaded because there is nothing to stop the mass of the car from going under the truck and crushing the cab. The corporations lobbying against it don't want any sort of added cost, even if it could save lives. It took them decades to implement rear underride guards on semi trailers, and even longer for them to be properly reinforced. In this case, it was obviously the white Civic's fault, but remember that we see plenty of crazy truckers too on this channel.
