Does NOT surprise me that there were no warning signs far in advance. For some reason, whenever any… and I do mean ANY… road construction is happening on the NJ stretch of route 80, they RARELY put up enough signage. Heck, I remember when they were working on the overpass closer to the Hopatcong and Netcong area, years ago, and the warning signage was almost non-existant. I’m guessing THIS was during the current new Squirrelwood Road overpass construction that was mentioned in the Bergen Record?
