I honestly think they should just call this update Spirit of Fire, even if it's the same name as the Operation, I'd prefer that over CU29 at this point.

If you pay attention you will see that Camo is "Active"... What this means is that within the glowing field in the middle of the map *everyone* turns invisible. It's pretty cool.

I’m happy 343 is making new maps but we’ve seen ONI facilities so much. I’d like to see more maps on halo rings or more maps which feature a lot more nature and forerunner objects, like forest. Overall, im quite happy about the new season :)

This map is sick. But please in the future let new maps be different from confined metal military spaces. Nuclear strike zone, a cemetary, hedge maze, furniture store. Just something with a different vibe than the core maps.

I hope 343 goes back and colors old attachments to match our coatings. The new ones are now colored, but they didn't fix the old ones.

@@Episode_13I'd say it is, customization is about player expression, having uncolored attachments restricts that expression and ultimately hurts 343's bottomline. The amount of times I've heard people go "I would have bought X, but it's not colored" is nothing to scoff at. If these older attachments were colored, then 343 would definitely have more people paying for things since their Spartan would actually look right to them.

@@centiret The lack of Covenant aesthetics has been a plague on Halo for years now. Halo 4 had no Covenant maps, Halo 5 butchered the Covenant design into a hideous, bulbous, insectoide nonsense and Halo Infinite just doesn't have any again.

@@Espartanica it’s time to move on from infinite with the team they have now and put 100% effort into the title. Make sure it’s released finished and has everything a halo game should have at launch. There should be no excuses when they make Halo 7. It’s okay to have a mistake, but have it twice, and then three times? If they ruin the next title again, they do not deserve to own the IP of Halo. They’ve had this franchise for over a decade now. And each title they’ve released, there’s been countless mistakes.

@@Jjw338 I personally find the matter of old teams and new teams to be a little complicated. Since throughout all the games released by 343 they had the same leadership and management until recently. We have no idea how severe of a difference a change in management will be for 343 at its current state. On every end of the development side the artists, audio guys, writers etc, can’t really be the ones to blame for the final product, but we also have no idea how the new management will fare, so at least on my end im going to wait and see.

Finally some map specific interactions. I miss the spinning wheel on zanzibar. Thankfully they made the gate work in forge. No bridge though. Gears of war used to be good for this stuff too. Avalanche would change the whole map mid game which was awesome.

I miss the days when we used to get map packs, full of great developer created maps every few months or so, even if we did have to pay. 1 map (that isn't forged), even if free, just doesn't feel enough. Especially when there's so many different types of halo players, from competitive ranked players, to big team battle only players and to social players.

I used to get excited about new maps and appreciate them for adding them. However, they get loat in the random mix and you rarely get to play them if ever once the initial 24/7 evebt is over and it falls in the random "rotation". Theres so many maps I haven't played in because they dont show up ever again.

@@ComradeKoopa The "illusion" that 343 cares about Halo by paying homage to the og powerups, yet theyl map is as bland and generic as they get. The powerups are the only slightly interesting thing about this map and you obviously wont even be able to access that area. Remember Cold Storage where there was literally flood enemies running around outside the glass? Flood inside of tubes and the giant servitor eye that watches everyone with a spotlight? Thats my Halo.

Would've been cool if the power-up effects rotated on a timer. Door frame colors would alternate between blue and orange and whatnot. Hoping the classic power-ups get added as Forge pieces at least.

Playable elites and assassinations are not priority. The real content Infinite needs is more Sandbox. Sandbox is the mainly tool you interact in the game. New weapons and new vehicles bring you more posibilities for the game experience.

Forge has had amazing updates and keeps getting better! So even once game updates slow down, the constant new maps made by the community will keep Halo Infinite exciting for a long time to come :)

The absolute next thing 343 needs to implement to infinite for customization, would be the ability to customize the Coating Hexagon. If we could use any colors from our owned coatings (which would be up to 7 colors in one coating) to create our own hexagon coating. The customization would go absolutely insane. That would mean there would be thousands of different color combinations/texture to choose from all of the coatings.

@@drunkenengineer887 it's pretty infuriating, I have so many coatings I like. But the combinations of colors I want are of course seperated by seperated coatings. I think custom Hexagons would bring so many unbelievable combos.

@@Zetherian they should ditch the hexagon thing, we should be able to press on the individual plates of armor and choose the colors like that. I would love it like that so I can do mainly red with full white forelimbs and a few black accents throughout. If we we were allowed to choose our own texture I would go for a scuffed slightly worn look.
