Don't forget the people who don't know how to actually play table tennis and have no interest in learning. Same with people who say they know how to play chess but move the pieces like it is checkers and I just have to get up, tell them they are an actual tarder and walk away.

A legal serve consists of a toss .. I think it is like at least 6 inches from release. Just no toss .. that’s all

Reasons for illegal serves: #1. The ball can't be thrown onto the racket. #2. Racket can't touch ball twice. #3. Ball must be thrown 16 cm. #4. Otto is too good.

He just chopped it thin with some side spin and lightly tapped it so the spin would take affect and barely go over the net. With practice you can do it easy, I practiced for 6-7 months and was able to master chopping the ball so thin it doesn't go anywhere so you can hit it again

Interesting to see, that the second serve needed a special racket, special being it has the rubber only on one side, cause the ball would loose its spin otherwise.
