Just like any country in the world Iran has its own religious fanatics and its progressive liberals. I hate this notion that western media keeps promoting that somehow Iranians are different species and we need to discover them. I have quite a few friends that have been to Iran and not a single one of them said something bad about Iran. The hate always comes from the ones that haven't even left their own country.

Agree.I have been three times to Iran.I have visited it with my Iranian friends and I have slept, eaten in my friends houses with their families.Everywhere I found a real warm welcome. I met different families: religious and not religious .All of them were so friendly. I talked to mollahs without any problem. I hope to come back there again. Greetings from Italy.

I feel that way, at least I think I know what he was suggesting to. We have freedom to be consumers in the USA but we are not free. I would feel more free if I didn’t have to directly support all the otrosicites of the military/industrial complex. They have made us slaves, we are only free to do what they tell us is ok. I am a British citizen and wish my country could have better relations with the Islamic world. The only real way to achieve this is for us to pull all of our soldiers out of the Persian Gulf and stop supporting Israel and Saudi Arabia. Finally we need to stop interfering in the Middle East. Then maybe one day they will stop shouting death to England... Viking ancestors once visited the Islamic world. It is not natural for us to be so hostile to each other.

Have been to iran twice... With my technical team.. People are very warm...food is super.. :) To all those who say its difficult to live in iran i wud say its more likely to face rascism in western countries then in iran.. People are very nice... And dont pay heed to any western propaganda... Western media generally likes to show the poorest part of the country to put a hopeless image of the country in ur minds... but they will never show their own homeless people in their so called DEVELOPED COUNTRIES... but thats just my opinion... I'm from the U.S. Born and raised. I had the privilege to visit Iran twice within the last 3 years. It was absolutely beautiful!!! The people are so genuinely nice and hospitable. There was so much beautiful architecture and such profound history throughout the country. I always felt very, very safe as well. I really hope to go back some time soon because I loved it so much!!! :-)

Iranians are very cultured and secular people. They are pretty much the opposite of the Saudis in that regard. Young people and even everyday folk like the west. Even the type of Islam they practice is poetic and mystical unlike Sunni Islam which is far more cut throat

They are conscripts. In Iran both men and women hold hands like that. I do that with my brothers, cousins and friends. I was surprised when I noticed it was ok for girls to kiss and hold hands, and was a no no for boys to do so in the west.

Unfortunately this video is not the all. I talked to an Iranian and he said we are against the State of US not thier people. They hate US State for helping Iraq in the war that they started against Iran for 8 years, they banned Iran while the war. Also they Shot down IR655 and killed 290 persons, and many other reasons that I don't remember now!
