I am unable to install esp8266 and to dectect the device esp8266. The thing is , I copied and pasted the arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json in "preferences" then I went to tools , then arduino/genuino Uno to boards manager in whitch a message in red color will appear underneath saying error download download.arduino.cc/packages/package_index.json, then when I write esp8266 nothing will appear , the window is blank ,I can't see esp8266 by esp8266 community . I know the problem is with this message in red color . I am stuck , Do you have any suggestions with many thanks? My windows ver 7 IDE of the arduino 1.8.9
