Can confirm one thing though - before the update, on my iPhone 13, I only had 10ish GB of space left. After the update, it's gone up to 25ish GB.

It’s just weird normally they increment the version number and iOS 18 is too far away for them to be doing stuff related to that to release versions at least not until the beta cycle for 18

This update is available through the standard Mac update method. No need to manually download and IPSW.

Same I’ve had nothing but problems, had to drag my ancient old faithful out of the drawer and put sim in it to be able to use cellular data when I’m out. My current phone is just an iPad now working on wifi only 🙄
