I’ve dropped my 2018 iPad Pro a handful of times. I’ve have it in the case that Amazon ranked the best for drop protection. The case is low profile and had done its job admirably…until five days ago. Frankly, I don’t blame the case. It happens! I was waiting until this year (now likely next year) for an OLED display and other improvements. Unfortunately, I was faced with the choice of spending $500 on a new screen or $1000 on a new iPad Pro. I just couldn’t fix that screen! This video, as every other one of yours I’ve ever watched, was very informative. I don’t feel quite so cheated anymore! My comment is less about the 11” iPad you reviewed and more about you and your content. Keep it up! Great work!

I´m keeping my old 2018 iPad Pro 12,9" 4G some more years. It's still a power house. It's interesting that they keep updating the iPad Pro so much every version. Nice review as always.

Functionality wise I say the same thing to customers. Apple IS protecting Mac sales from iPad. If you could install illustrator or autocad, etc. on an iPad, Mac sales would drop

Awesome review! Sitting in a Ferrari in between city traffic- what a terrific analogy. Just one sentence , enough to decide on whether to go or not to go for the new iPad. On the fence -MB Air or iPad Pro. Workflow includes heavy duty technology work and video/ photo editing. Upgrade from 2018 iPad Pro 12.9.

I think the iPad os15 has brought some significant changes to this. The charging speed and no led display aren't too much if a bump to me.

My 2018 11’ iPad Pro is my only “computer” since i got It in early 2019(aside from my company laptop that i only use for work). The battery has seen better days but other than that its still great. For my use its enough.

Most of the people are going to use all this performance for playing candy crush 😂😂😂

Ordered this yesterday. Waiting for it to arrive. The 16GB RAM is a bit outside of my budget, but I did get the 512GB drive + 8Gb RAM. I just hope I won't miss the extra RAM when creating composites in PhotoShop. I do have a 30-day window to exchange it, but it's a $50 restock fee. ..ouch.

Very well made point at the end. I agree that they are protecting two products by not innovating to their full potential. They most likely will get there, the iBook Pro. But not until one or the other products becomes obsolete so maybe another 5-7 years before Apple is forced to innovate to keep up with consumer demands.

Yup, I agree too that the 11 inch form factor is my preference over the 12.9 inch which is too unwieldy for things like ebook reading
