this shitty update is trashing my battery... capacity on my iphone 15 Pro dropped to 96% already and battery life is horrible .. half of what i got with the previous update. and gets so hot Update 9.5.2024 it already dropped to 94% wtf

Since I updated to the iOS 17.4.1 issue my 13 mini has been overheating and sometimes has to stop charging for it to cool before it continues once it gets to 80%.

iPhone 13 promax everything is running smooth. I was on an old version of iOS 16 and was having issues withdropped calls. Nothing else worked. I updated the software and that seem to fix the issue. Battery life is a little worse than before but nothing crazy. Haven’t seen any of the overheating. Very thankful.

iPhone 15promax and 17.4.1 over heats with UKposts app. Gets hot to the touch. Watching via browser doesn’t heat up. Turned off everything background refresh and still overheats running UKposts app. Apple diagnostics says fine. Battery drained very fast with background refresh enabled.

Just purchased the iPhone 15 two days ago and it overheats to the point we’re my phone is so uncomfortable to hold. iPhones typically last 2 years it’s really fucked up considering the amount we pay for them, I’ve resented Apple for a while now I don’t agree with them ethically and my next phone will definitely not be a iphone I’m really fed up.

My battery health dropped 3% on my iPhone 14 Pro after the 17.4.1 ! From 100% to 97% ! And no I haven’t changed anything in my daily usage! Also I’ve noticed that it getting hot for no reason sometimes without even doing anything at all! Just in idle 😢 ! And also I noticed the animations are not smooth anymore , a lot of lags and stutters everywhere

Yeah iOS 17.4.1 was so laggy and over heating on my phone so I had to update to iOS 17.5 beta 2 and it is sooo much better. No more lag and no more over heating.
