This information is best, to clear the concept of communication interface between two BLE (peripheral and central) and to understand slave limitations. Please make 1 video on difference between classic Bluetooth and BLE and explain it's technical differences.

Does BLE be working in the background even if my Bluetooth is OFF in my phone? I have noticed that my phone shares notification with smartwatch even when my Bluetooth is OFF.

Hi, ever since Android 13 (API level 33) You can't use classic or ble when your bluetooth is turned off, unfortunately.

In my experience, Connection parameter updates are troublesome. Each Manufacturer and OS Ecosystem does not behave the same way as we expect it to. There are situations where one of the devices can terminate the connection if it is not satisfied with the connection parameters. For example, the Spec does not speak on when to send the Connection parameter update and how many times to send it. Because of it there are implementation specific behaviors.
