I grew up in this area, in a little town called Caineville, which is between Hanksville and Notom. Listening to this story took me back to my childhood as the descriptions of the area are so accurate. This whole desert area is spooky. I often felt like I was being watched when I was out gardening or doing other outdoor activities. I went tent camping in this area about 10 years ago but will not go again after hearing this story.

This got my Adrenaline, Anxiety, and all sorts of neurons firing! Totally brought me back to how I felt during the scene where the cup of water begins to vibrate as the T-Rex approaches in Jurassic Park!👍

My mother was alone at home ill a few years back when she heard something walking around in the house. She said that she had told my dad to lock the doors when he left for work, but apparently he had not. She had hurt her back and broken one of her legs and she couldn’t find her cell phone. She said she lay their quietly and in fear for her life as someone fiddled around with the door knob. Suddenly, the door burst open and in through the door... casually walked our... BILLY GOAT! I know, not a Bigfoot, but I assure you it did have her terrified and now it’s a wonderfully funny story! I’m surprised that Mambo didn’t bark!

Me and my bud were put canoeing in 1999 or 2000. We were in the Susquehanna River,in MD. In our canoe after the sun had set. We had just left an island we were fishing at, and on our way back to land, a huge rock was thrown near us!! We were about 100 yards from either shore at the moment...and we panicked! We both started paddling sooo hard, and almost burned ourselves out. I looked to my right,as I was paddling. I saw a large,man-like figure IN THE WATER!! Keeping pace with our canoe! About 20 or 30 feet to my right. I didn't say anything to my friend, because we were both believers in Sasquatch/Bigfoot. We made it to the boat launch, and left without saying anything to one another. Later, I asked my friend if he was the one who threw the large rock(as a joke, because we always joked with each other), and he replied: " I didn't throw that rock. I swear on my dead Grandmother"... Nuff said.✝️

I have learned through the years to listen to that very FIRST instinct that there may be danger or if I'm about to make the wrong decision about something and I really don't feel comfortable with it....Sometimes, literally... denial can get one hurt or killed in a dire situation! Good story. I enjoyed it. Thanks!

Holy smoke! I started out relaxed in my recliner but by the end, I was on the edge of my seat... My dog was hiding in the corner behind my chair... now I’m going upstairs and hide in my bed with the door closed. I’m so glad I live in the middle of a small city!

I have been listening to your stories for a while now and felt compelled to comment. You are by far the best Sasquatch story teller I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. I have listened to quite a few and I love the way you approach the "slow boil" way of presenting it. Please continue the great job and I am very grateful that you are willing to spend your time several days a week to bring us such great encounters. With much gratitude, Parker.

This is a fantastic story. I’m sorry she and Mambo had to go through that but really glad they’re okay. And just wanted to say how much I love and appreciate your style of storytelling. I really like that you mention in the very beginning that your stories are more of a slow boil as a sort of disclaimer for people who might not be interested, I think that was very thoughtful of you. To be honest, though I enjoy a story with a good beginning and good details, I’m rather impatient so didn’t think I would be into it if the start was too slow but I really really love your stories and am catching up by listening to a new one every night. Thank you!

This story is terrifying! It reminds me of another I recently heard on another site, where a woman was living in a remote area in a small mobile home in the 1970's in Tennessee or Kentucky, maybe? The door on the mobile home didn't lock well (not that I think that would really have mattered if BF was truly intent to get in) and woke up to find a BF in her den, staring at her lying in her bed in the bedroom at the end of the hall. She said it looked at her for a while and then turned and left. I have been trying to find that story again....

I cannot even imagine such an atrocious thing happening to me. This woman definately has more guts than I. It would make a good movie. I actually habituated two bigfoot juvies when I was 8 yrs old in 1972 in the Pocono Mts. It's weird, they seem friendly until the males' testosterone kicks in right about 5-6 feet tall, then they seem to go into asshole-mode. Not so much with the females, but they are kept pregnant and protected all the time. The females seem a bit easier to deal with, though not always. My cousin swears there is a female Bigfoot near his best deer hunting blind with half of a lower jaw that goes absolutely apeshit if she sees him, more so just to drive him off and out of her territory. Guess she must have been given the boot because of her deformity. He swears she carries around a flattened mylar balloon and a squeeky toy of some kind. These creatures are just as weird as shit. I'm not even kidding. Be careful out there folks. They ARE real.

i found it as well - fits the description in the story to a T. Beautiful place - definitely a place to go to be alone in the desert with modern comforts. Interesting seeing the pics of the home, and the deck she was on, the inside, , and imagining the Big Foot jumping down on it etc. I am one of those people who loves to search Google for the areas that the stories have occurred - get a true visual of the terrain etc..

Wow Sue! Can somebody say, 'Movie'? I'd go see it. That story had all the elements of a good horror movie. Ohh.. wait. I don't do horror movies. They scare me. 😳😬😲 I saw Alien (the first one) and had nightmares for more than a month! I know what the professionals say about dreams, but I've never ever in my life had one that wasn't in color. And mine are always vivid, like you are actually there! Both my husband and I are avid readers and I've read many books that I had to leave the lights on for. Having said that I still think this story is movie material. Money scene: when op and Mombo are making their escape. Scaaary! Oh yeah. Thank you so much for this story. i have at least one but i believe two that dwell here around my neighborhood. they are not normal animAls nor humans. they have abilities we do not have and super strength and speed yet live a wild carniverous lifestyle yet have children and wives. this is not something God would have placed on this earth. i believe aliens brought them here and they are certainly proliferating and populating the world at an ever increasing rate. something is coming like the "Sasquatch Wars"

I used to be a skeptic but I had a open mind..I remember when the Patterson/Gimlin film came out with Patty and although I was a skeptic I always what if...I’ve hunted, hiked camped for the past 50 years and I had no interactions with anything that I know of..but I got turned on to videos of Sasquatch Odyssey, Sasquatch Chronicles and a few other and after listening to a boat load of videos I started thinking there’s no way all these people are lying or misidentify the beast with bears ESPECIALLY when a great hunter runs into one..they always claim it was a bear making people think they are being played like fools...well it’s 2020 now and I land on the side of knowing that the Bigfoot creature is real and it lives in our woods and with the Indians has Totem polls with depictions of a Sasquatch..and every country has encounters and they all can’t be lying either....

Wow this sounds like the story about the beautiful home same discription!!! The people just wanted to sell it asap the couple who bought it with there daughter turned it into a bed & breakfast and that was a great success at first within a short amount of time the family had found our that the home had bigfoot and it got terrible it had chaced the daughter into the woods and the wife was hidden in a freezer she stayed in the refrigerator that locked in the mean time her husband had to stay back where they had moved from he was not able to reach his wife and daughter he became panicked and drove out there and as he was on the way up the driveway there was a huge tree blocking the road so he couldn't pass to get up to the house ( bed& breakfast) he made a phone call into town to get help to move it so he could get up to find his wife and daughter the man knew something just like this man WILL knew. And it turned out he had begged the tree removal guy to go help him find his family and the. Police had been informed of him not being able to reach his family the tree so they were on the way they both got access into the house and searched everywhere they found the wife alive hidden inside the fridge ,the daughter had ran into the woods so she not but stayed there she was to terrified to climb down ,they had helicopters and everything by the grace of God everyone was safe in the end of this story ,down to the jacuzzi the home was the same as described in the story the other story had a guy who was like a caretaker for the property snowplows the long driveway in the winter months for them and he had kept a journal that had been left there , WOW THANK YOU FOR SENGING TOYR STORYS IN , WE HAVE A GREAT NARRATOR WHO IS HAPPY TO READ THEM FOR YOU AND US ALLLLL, BLESSINGS TO EVERYONE SAFTY 1 PEOPLE SAGGFFGTFDDDSDETÞ GDX Z,YT

It is come to a point where it is not being a believer of these beings anymore. We KNOW they are here. A friend of mine that lives in Southeast Ohio has a family of four of these people on his 60 acre homestead. And they are people. They are the oldest living humans on the face of this planet. They have been here for thousands of years. They are called the Almas people. Originating from 400 mi north of the Black Sea. 90% of these people are very shy and friendly but would rather stay away from humans. That other 10% are very aggressive, sometimes cannibalistic, and will kill people if given the opportunity. Typically the ones that smell like rotten meat and garbage are the outcasts of their clan. It is these particular beings that you need to watch out for.
