I need to do more testing I have only boiled near the coast. Also I tested drowning and I literally took more damage but like I said I need to test more. I think it perhaps wasn't a good test or perhaps a bug or related to world mods idk yet. I stayed in the water for a long time for the record. My full guide will have everything in more detail fully tested which I will do after full release. EDIT: I just went back and tested again and you are right BUT I did get a bug where I just didn't boil AND I did take more damage from drowning compared to in meadows but thats because you take more damage the more health you have. Literally tested with different commands on and off and different world mods and I always boil now legit have footage of not boiling so I reported it to Iron Gate. Don't know what happened. My character could not boil and that caused confusion which lead to what I said in the video. Apologies. EDIT: How long it takes to start boiling is relative to how far south you are. If you're far enough north I've had boiling take 48 secs to kick in vs 3 secs on the edge of the map. This could of fuelled the confusion too.

Haha it's definitely more grindy than Enshrouded. I will say that the Ashlands is a little less grindy that other biomes, flametal is easier to get plus being able to port metal with the new portals helps soften the blow a bit.

Just as a Tipp, with the world modifiers, you can make it much less grindy if you wish

@@NickRawcliffeAshlands is grindy due to all the mobs that whoop u easily. Only thing not easy is the sieging
